Primark favour..
*begging alert*
My local Primark doesn't have any of the navy white polka dot dresses in, I don't know if thats cos its just a pikey as hell branch :head: or they aren't available all over yet, :( and I would lurve one. (well probably 2 as I'm not sure whether I'd need a 12 or 14 :o )
in return I can supply you with a million acrylic jumpers (mmm, think of the stellar static displays) and last years gypsy skirts from my local Primark, or just pay you.
;)
thank you
Answer:
I'll look for you - Im going to look for a cape/jacket thing for another bagger anyway.
I dont know what they look like though - does anyone have a pic?
(I think I might want one too....)
Answer:
ooh thank you so much!
heres the pic
Answer:
Oh I definitely want one!!!
Fingers crossed they have them in my local branch on Saturday....
xx
Answer:
Hi hon,
I looked in both branches close to me and they dont have them in yet.... :(
I spoke to a really helpful shop assistant and she said that the store she worked in definitely wont get them in, they never get dresses, but that the one in centre of town more than likely will, and it can be anything up to a month after the stores in England.
So all is not lost yet!!
I noticed today that the polka dot stuff is starting to filter in, they had polka dot tops today, but no bags yet, so I will check again on Thursday night depending what time I get finished work.
Im really sorry!!

Help..Charity Dinner Outfit!
Dear fashion gurus,
I have a charity dinner to attend this Thursday and just been told the dress code a bit formal.
I'm in a pickle now as I don't own a dress or skirt as it makes my a*se look big!
Could you give me some suggestions please.
I'm a size 16, top ( 36/38 E ) and bottom heavy but have a waist (so I think).
Wrap dress was the first thing that came in to my mind but have no idea how I would look in it.
Any thoughts/help would be very greatly appreciated.
(need to be able to buy from a high street shop as I only have today and tomorrow to come up with an outfit.)

Answer:
A wrap dress may well work (and it would be very versatile) but it also may not (I'm being helpful aren't I  ) There was a thread about a week ago, they work on some figures and not others! If you're curvy and busty then I think it should be perfect for you (I'm pear shaped and they emphasise my hips so badly!)
If not, I'd say definitely reconsider a skirt. If you're struggling to get a good fit it can be a better option than a dress to get two pieces. Something A-line or fairly full should work nicely. Unless you're short like me I'd recommend Monsoon for this kind of thing!
And I sound like a broken record but a wrap top would look lovely with it!
Answer:
I know this is going to sound boring but I think it would suit your figure:
both monsoon and whistles do a certain shape of dress that is very flattering to large busted curvy figures - its a slightly A line mid calf length with a shaped V bust and 3/4 length sleeves. Both do it in lovely patterened/embroidered colour mixes and for the occasion in question and for something that will do you for weddings/dinners for years to come I think it would be a good investment. Then just arm yourself with a nice pair of mid heel mary janes (in a colour from the dress) and a little cropped jacket (like the cream one in warehouse sale) and you'll be set.

I'm a size 14 on top and 16 on the bottom due to my huge hips and I love A line skirts and wrap tops- they're so flattering!
I also find Coast clothes fit well and are cut for people with curves.
I have a gorgeous strapless A line dress from Coast that looks lovely with a shrug to cover the tops of my flabby arms
I agree that Monsoon is a good place to look too- here are some ideas stolen from their website:
Have a great night :)

thanks for some great inspirational ideas I'm going to hit the shops today.
please feel free to post more ideas as I have tomorrow to shop as well. :)

*please Help* Pink Sparkly Clutch
Please, if anyone could help....I recently bought the Moda In Pelle Jordan pink sparkly shoes, and desperately need a matching pink glitter clutch bag, they do a gorgeous matching clutch on the Moda In Pelle website, only drawback is that it is £70!! If anyone knows of a cheaper alternative or where I may get one, I would be very appreciative!! It's more of a baby pink btw as opposed to a deep pink!! Thanks in advance, Nicola x
Answer:
Not sure, but check ebay.
Answer:

What about getting a different size

Its not the length that doesn't fit, its the width.

Advice re: Black Cord City shorts
Hi! :)
I need your sensible advice!
I am going through my ´city-shorts´phase (ie. have in the past few mths got said shorts in brown cord, brown check tweed, dark pink/plum tweed, cream wool, brown with tiny dots of blue wool, forest green, royal blue, grey tweed and dark blue denim)...
do you think it justifies another black corduroy city-shorts purchase??? or is just madness at this stage?
Honest opinions appreciated and thanks :) :o
ps: these city-shorts are only 11.99€
Answer:
silly sofia , of course you must get them(black goes with everything and they are a bargain!)!

Ok! Thanks a lot for your advice and you are right...it will go with lots ;)
(my other brown and blue shorts are cute and from the younger section in Zara...brown wool with tiny dots of blue :) )
