For those who were worried about stripes
Following on from last week's thread about whether stripes could be flattering, this has just arrived for me:
I've tried it on with the black gauchos and vest I was already wearing and it looks fab. It gives me great boobs, a small waist and teeny hips... I would go so far as to say it has worked miracles ;)
Off to buy more :p
Answer:
Dontcha just love that :D
I wouldn't have even thought of ordering it as it looked like it could have hip widening qualities, just shows that you have to try things on really!
Answer:
I think because it's cropped it adds width higher up, making my waist and hips look smaller.
I realise I do sound rather evangelical about it :o

On a similar note - they say you are truly grown up when you can bear to wear your school uniform colours again!

I know, i kind of get how people could like them, they are just black pumps, but that damn elastic is just too reminisent of the embarressment of having to wear knickers if you forgot your pe stuff!!!
I dont think i'll ever be truely grown up :o :o
Answer:

Do we like this?
Have yet to get a bold dotty top and saw this, i think i have to have it?
Do you think it will look ok or am i mad?:o
Answer:
i think it depends what you wear it with, but i do like it.
Answer:
Huuummm not sure really!
I suppose it looks nice with black skinnies but would it look ok with indigo ones or jeans in general?
Have you tried it on? If you do and it looks fab, go for it! :)

I thin that on me it would look silly cause I'm too small, but you're tall and slim and I'm imagining it looking gorge on you with your grey/black skinnies and some of your red accessories. You've got the exact figure to carry off that kind of kimono sleeve shape.
Answer:
Not sure if it will be that flattering, deffo one that needs trying on me thinks.
Marc Jacobs lookalikies in MS
NO.4. ask :
Marc Jacobs lookalikies in MS
I stumbled upon these in the Kingston branch yesterday. I think they bear a strong resemblence to some Marc Jacobs shoes from last season but way cheaper! The only thing is they come in navy, so i suppose they would clash with all my patterned black tights?
Anyway here they are:

No-one agrees?!!
Answer:
I think no one has replied because they didn't see or can't remember the MJ ones from last year, I know I can't :o

espadrille's
NO.5. ask :
espadrille's
Hi guys
Do you reckon espadrille's will be in again this spring/summer? There seem to be quite a few pairs on the TS website, I mainly ask because I bought these when I was in NYC and only really wore them once or twice last year.
I was thinking about e-baying them, cos I don't know what to wear them with, I have a top in Brown with the greeny colour as a trim and beige city shorts, that I wore them with last year but can't really think of anything else.
Basically should I keep them or not, and any outfit suggestions would be great.

Answer:
Well, according to mags and online, espadrilles are set to become the big thing for shoes in spring, once it gets warm enough to wear them. I personally think yours are gorgeous, I wouldn'e give them away. Even if espadrilles don't become huge this spring, they may well be in again in a few years.
Answer:
Thanks mwah
I was hoping someone would say that!! I jsut need some outfit suggestions now!!

Answer:
I don't know wether this is really your style, but I owuld wear them with a knee legnth/ just below knee length brown floaty summer skirt, and a pretty (pink maybe?) top, possibly with beading to bring out the beading on the shoes? Thats how I would wear them... (When it gets warmer, obviously though...You would become a human iceberg if you wore that now) Anyway, as they are hopefully going to be revived, you should see them in magazines with loads of idfferent outfits soon!
Answer:
Those are lovely!! Id keep them and wear them with a-line skirts or dresses or even city shorts! they would go great!
I am keeping mine (have a pair of silky organza in pale pink and dark gold from ´guess´; two pairs of embroidered spanish ones, one pair is red the other one black and bought in ´el corte inglęs´in madrid so will keep them as reminds me of one of my trips there! ;) and another pair of pale pink linen ones which match a beach dress i have)
As long as they are pretty and not granny like, they will be in fashion as light, cool and confy for summer! keep them!
