I know I don't post in here THAT much, however I am completely addicted and lurk all day, every day. I just thought I'd say bye bye to you all as tomorrow I'm off to Aussieland for 6 months. Sadly I don't have that huge a suitcase and so it's mostly vile shorts and flip flops in there.

Hello everyone.
It’s my 23rd birthday on the 17th February and as I am away this weekend and busy the one after, I am starting to think about what I will wear out on the Saturday night when I go out with my friends.
Now I have a pair of city shorts, but would quite like to go for some short shorts and heels for a bit of a different look (floaty skirts has been my look recently). But not sure if I can get away with them as I always feel nervous and self conscience when trying something new?! (I’m 5”9/10 size 8)
I have had a quick look on the warehouse website but the one and only time I have tried some on (in warehouse incidentally) the legs were really wide on me and look stupid on me, so my second point is there anywhere that does quite slim legged ones i.e. a bit more like hotpants but not?
And do you think these tops would look right, I love the pink one but I’m a girly girl.

at last!! it was in MS and is a dark brown, wrap-style with a silver loop belt, knee length. it was £28 with my discount from £35. its not on the website so i cant post a pic. its really classy and my b/f likes it too :eek: (well his exact words were 'its not as bad as some of those others you tried on'!!)
i was really pleased with it, and then i saw a really really gorgeous brown and green one in jane norman for £40!!! i couldnt afford both so i had to leave it behind....:mad:
