Another Do you like this outfit thread!
Morning!
I'm out tonight, and was wondering whether this outfit looks ok
it's a green strapless dress from next, with brown slouch boots. I'm not 100% convinced that it looks ok - I think it looks a bit too much like a summer dress with winter boots kind of outfit - like I really wanted to wear the dress but was too cold IYSWIM.
I've got a brown belt I could wear with it too, but then it looks a bit too "done"
My other option is to wear it with gold tbar shoes and gold accessories....
Thanks
eta: it will be ironed before I wear it
Answer:
i think it looks great, its still cold, so boots are defo OK. Might be nice to try it with a belt though.
where are you off to??
Answer:
Hi Kate, you look really good, but I think it might be a bit too summery?! If I were you, I'd go for the gold shoes and accessories, as you can get away with baring more flesh in the winter when you look dressier, if you get me.
But that's just me :wasfield:

Answer:
Hi Nice dress :)
I think perhaps the bare shoulders v the big boots look doesn't really work.
It's two different looks.
Maybe if the dress had sleeves it would work.
I can understand why you'd want to wear boots- with this weather- but I think the dress would look better with shoes- peep toes, platforms or T-bars.
But that's just my humble opinion
Answer:
Hmmm.....
I've worn a very similiar outfit - a black skirt worn as a dress which came to about the same length as yours - with big boots and it looked fine. I did wear opaque tights as well as a shrug over the top though, to balance it out a bit.
If you don't want to do that, then I think everyone else is right - better to go with shoes instead.
Nice dress, btw!

shoes for driving
NO.2. ask :
shoes for driving
Is anyone else completely paranoid about what shoes they drive in?
I can't bring myself to drive in anything other than completely flat and slighty bendable shoes. Which is limited my fashion sense slighty!
Please someone tell me I'm not the only one!
Answer:
Hi,
I'm taking driving lessons, have had about 12 and I've always worn my trainers, as otheriwse I can't feel the pedals properly.
But what I plan to do once I get my licence, is always have my trainers in my car, and change into them once in the car- as there's no way I wear trainers anywhere but the gym
Isn't that an option?
Answer:
That's what I do! I have a pair of driving shoes that I keep in the car, and just wear them to drive in!
Answer:
when i had driving lessons i would only wear the same pair of adidas'. Then would change them in the car when i passed, now i drive in anything. Quite high heels yesterday!!!
Answer:
I ususally wear flat shoes, I have driven in heels, but mostly I feel more in control in flats.

What do we think of the New Luella Stevie bag?
I saw it in Harrods and it looks gorgeous but im not sure which colour to get.
In Fushia Pink or White? What do you think?
Birdie
Answer:
I would def get white ! Its lovely.
And will be so much more useful.. Yes the white for sure!!:great:
Answer:
I know what you're saying but for some reason i soooo love the fushia pink! :o but I think the white would be more practical!
They do them in two sizes Large and medium.. not sure what size to go for either... I LUV BIG BAGS THOUGH!! ;)
decisions..decisions...decisions!!
Answer:
maybe 2 mediums -
one pink and one white;)
Answer:
The Large is HUGE. I bought an applicque one in Large a couple of years ago and wish I'd bought the medium - a) because it was only £450 instead of £650 and b) because the Large is sooooo heavy once I put things in it (and since its large I'm tempted to put a lot in it) that it becomes too heavy to carry.
Best place for Uggs?

Answer:
There are always loads of Ugg knock-offs in the shops but they are often bad quality are certainly not as warm as real Uggs are cos the sheepskin isn't real.
The cheapest place I know to get 'real' Uggs is Hartings. The short ones are £79.95 the tall ones are £89.95. This is still expensive but it's worth it! They will last a long time will keep you warm even in the coldest weather.
I tried some on in Schuh they were so comfortable cosy that I wanted to get them there then but they were £150! So I ordered a pair of the tall chestnut ones from Hartings last night instead. I can't wait for them to arrive!

Ahh thank you. Yeah! Everywhere I've looked they've been well over the £100 mark which just can't happen!! Now all I've gotta do is save up a lil more for these!
Is the delivery price a lot?
You can rub in how great they are when yours arrive
Thanks for your help.

Louis Vuitton On-Line Shopping in the UK!
NO.5. ask :
Louis Vuitton On-Line Shopping in the UK!
Louis Vuitton have just launched their on-line shop for the UK.
It's really easy to navigate and whilst most of the items would need a fair bit of saving before most of us mere mortals could purchase them it's worth a swoon too!
There was a thread a few months back discussing snooty assistants in high-end shops - this means we know longer have to suffer the wrath of a mardy till girl/guy when visting places like this. We can sit at home in our scruffs with no make-up and our hair looking like rats tails whilst purchasing!
Have a look - if only to dream

Answer:
This is terrible, together with others like NAP, there's no hope for me.
Answer:
I was thinking of getting a decent wallet from them for ages now. £13 delivery though :faint:
Answer:
If i was ever going to purchase something from LV , Id much rather go instore to do it rather than online . Just for the pure pleasure of looking at the snooty SA 's face when I point at the £1000 bag! Surely that is part of the fun!!
Answer:
Urgh! Nasty jingly music in the intro!
