Soooo angry
Right, I just had to type this as I am sooo angry!
Bought some UGGs from ebay, cheque cleared on the 25th and I was promised next day delivery, I was then told that they would be sent Wednesday and to expect them Thurs / Fri.
Well, they never arrived today so I emailed and was told that they had been posted from the US on Monday and would be here next week!! But whenever I have got stuff from the US it takes ages, normally 3 weeks, so I am now going to have to wait about 3 weeks for next day delivery!! I only ordered them cause they were supposed to be in the UK, hence quick delivery!!

If the goods were listed as being in the UK, then yes I would report them. I am fed up of sellers doing this.

Thanks for that, I have sent the seller numerous emails, all of which there trying to wriggle there way out of it and pretty much not answering my questions because evereything they say is contradictory!!!
I am really really angry, I have already said that to them that the only reason I ordered from them was because they were in the UK and hence quick delivery!! Yet its going to be more like three weeks!!!

Off to a graduate recruitment fair next week, and for dress code it simple states:
1. Dress to impress
Arrive at the exhibition as you would do an interview - first impressions count! A suit communicates that you are looking for a career, not just ideas.
Now, I've posted before about finding suits, but as I don't have any interviews lined up until late March, I haven't got one as yet, nor will I have the opportunity to before next week.
Can anyone suggest some sort of outfit which will be smart enough :confused: I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this sort of thing

As a grad fair vetran this is what i would rec. Bearing in mind that they are hot crowded and fairly hellish:)
A pencil skirt
A nice smart shirt
Smart shoes and opaques.
Maybe with some nice jewellery to avoid the waitress look and to give some personality!

Matalan are open late and I found a lovely and very cheap suit in there.

but remember to wear what you feel good in. body lanuage is as important as the clothes you wear. if you feel tense, you will look tense.
if you are happy wearing a fitted skirt, they look great. I usually prefer good quality, fitted trousers. the wide leg trousers always look classy.
oh and as fudgewarpaint says try and get away from black and white.

Ordered from them myself this morning and I did a forum search for this, too! Apparently their tops run big and their bottoms come up either small or true to size - it's a bit hit and miss from what I gather. Their sizing is 6/8, 10/12, 14/16 etc so is awkward if you're between sizes!
Their returns are really good though so if you can, order them in both sizes perhaps? You'd get away with a 14/16 on tops I should think but might have to size up on their bottoms. I am a size 8-10 and have a 6/8 on top and 12 on the bottom half!!

I sold a prada bag on ebay last week, the auction finished saturday night. the girl who won the auction imediately emailed me to say her paypal account had been hacked into so it was suspended at the mo and could she send me a postal order on monday?
i was out at the time but my mum replied saying yes it was no problem which i thought was fine, cos i;m happy to accept a postal order even tho i would have preferred paypal/bank transfer.
now bearing in mind she only asked me this AFTER she had won the item, not before hand when i specifically stated i only accepted paypal i thought this was slightly cheeky but i wasn't too fussed.
anyway, considered she won the item nearly a week ago should i be concerned that i havent recieved a postal order yet? i've emailed her this morning to chase her up but obv havent had a reply yet. i just looked at her feedback and she's had a couple negatives from sellers saying she hasnt paid - which although slightly worries me, i'm not too concerened as she does have a high 96% positive feedback score.
do you think i should be worried by the lack of payment?

when someone doesnt pay me fast enough ( 3 days in my case) when ive specified this I send them a new invoice every day until they cough up! :D

i mean she said she was going to post this postal order on monday. now i've given her the benefit of the doubt in that she might not have been able to get to the post office on monday but neither could i for the other items i sold and i emailed everyone and said i hadnt managed to post it that day but i would do it by wed at the latest which i did.
she could have sent it yesterday and it would have arrived today so thats 4 days she could have sent it and she hasnt. what annoys me is i sent all my items in one batch so not only do i have to go to the PO to cash this postal order i also have to go back again to send the damn thing

Topshop! It's probably very unoriginal to say that, it's overpriced and everyone shops there... BUT it's the only place I can go and always know I'll like something :) I think they're very quick with the new trends, the SA's are nice in my branch and stuff tends to be good quality IMO. And I get 10% student discount :yay:
