i have tons of jewellery that i really love, in all kinds and colours, but my problem is i can never 'match' things together. ive seen a lot of posts about adding a certain piece with an outfit but when i try things out they dont 'go'...is there a knack to it?? cos if it is i aint got it!!!
    Answer:
no advice for me then...am i too far gone??!! :p
    Answer:
I don't think theres a knack to it, I think its just a question of trying things together and seeing what goes and what doesn't, I just wear things that match colourwise, like today I'm wearing a black and white patterned wrapover top and I'm wearing a chunky black bead necklace and bracelet
    Answer:
sorry Gem, would love to give you some advice, but I'm afraid I'm clueless when it comes to this sort of thing!

Skinny jeans-do you have to be a 6 foot model to look good in them?
How can skinny jeans be flattering on anyone who is not perfect? I am slim (size 8) and fairly tall (5'7") but they make me look like I have short stumpy legs (which I don't). How can they look good on anyone? Are boot legs totally out now, then?
    Answer:
    Hi!
It is weird they make you look as if you have stumpy legs, especially as you are only a size 8 :).
And yes! I reckon you can look good in skinny jeans even if you are not a model! ;)
    Answer:
It's weird. I just think compared to boot leg jeans they are less flattering. Are boot legs a complete no-no now then?
    Answer:
That's odd - with a figure like yours, I'm sure they would look good!! Maybe try some different styles as it can take some shopping about til you find a pair you're really happy with.
    Answer:
Thanks. Maybe I do have short legs and just didn't realize until I tried skinny jeans on? Although I used to wear them all the time when I was a teenager back in the 80s.

  • Shopping in Cambridge?

    NO.5. ask :
    Shopping in Cambridge?
    Hi all,
im going into cambridge to shop till I drop tommorow:yay:
I know all the major shop, Next, MS, debenhams etc. But as Ive not been into clothes for a while I havnt really ventured any further before.
Dosnt matter what type of shop (well not tooo expensive!) as Im going to do a lot of trying on and findng what suits me.
Any ideas from the experts of places I must visit?:)
    Thanks
    Answer:
Ther eis a lot of the usual high street stores there (TS, Warehouse **** etc) Chock and block with shoe shops too
I also remember there was a Molten Brown store there too, which is delish. It's not on the main high street bit, but its about 2 mins walk so you could ask for directions or try looking on their website/multimap Also, if you want a HM there is only one small one (caters for women and kids only) but it's in a shopping precint somewhere, really can't remember, but also people may know.
I didn't really have a lot of time when I wa there to look out for other shops than the highstreet bit, but your really should check out this shop called Ark, it's full of loads of cute lil bits and bobs, mainly gifts and furniatre/house stuff, but they also had some shoes last time I was in there. That's on Norfolk street, right opposite the market square (you won't miss that) on the opposite side of the square from Gap and Oasis.
One place you have to go to the is the Fudge Kitchen! Also only 2 mins walks for the centery bit, and totally worth it. It's the best fudge in the world, I can't eat fudge from anywhere else really. they also give out free samples all the time, so you can try it first, but you won't be able to resist it after that. I'm sure a lot of people will know how to get to it if you ask for directions, it's round the corner from the Cambridge Arts Theatre.
    Sorry for the essay :o
    Answer:
Frank is a funky shop that does some brands not so common on the high street if you want to get something your friend isn't wearing. The SA in there are really friendly and always make people feel welcome going in.
The shopping centre JellyJadie mentioned is called the Grafton centre and is about 15 mins from the town, a quick walk. As you are approaching the entrance there is a shop called Mr Shoes which is cool. There is another one near **** in the market place.
Speaking of the Grafton Centre outside there are a few more shops, Sunrise is on the road to the right, just before you approach the entrance, just past the Robert Sale (John Lewis branch).
CB is pretty small and wandering around you will find most of the shops, hope you find some things you like. Unfortunately the sales never last very long.
    Answer:
Yep unfortunately Cambridge is mainly highstreet, however there are a lot of little shops off the market square but you have to go down some little roads to get to them. You can also get to a lot coming off Sidney Street.
