NO.1. Ask :
Who's still doing the GI diet?
Hi
Is anyone still following the GI diet? How are you finding it? I have read some good things in other threads, so thought i might invest in a book and try it out.
Can anyone reccomend a good GI book, thats easy to follow?
I have been doing WW for a couple of months but its not working and im desperate to shift this extra half stone in time for my hols.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks
Bx
Answer:
Hi Betty Boop,
I've actually just started this diet after buying the book on ebay a couple of months ago (constant procrastinator, me ).
The book I have is really easy to follow and explains the science behind how the diet works in simple terms: The Gi Diet by Rick Gallop. It's really encouraging, and something I think will be pretty easy to stick to, if the book is anything to go by.
Answer:
I follow it all the time (for health reasons), although do fall off the wagon from time to time :p
I don't have a book but I do refer to a spread I have from time to time
Answer:
Yeah, it's basically just healthy eating
Answer:
I'm still doing it and I've lost nearly a stone so far  I enjoy the food, so apart from a few lapses here and there, I'm going to carry on.

    Answer:
Hmm ..I saw a lot of tan leather bags today in Topshop but don't specifically remember that one. There's a huge arrangement of tan bags on display as you walk in and it was possibly amongst those - they all looked nice, not much help I know!:rolleyes:
    Answer:
Hi Betty Boop I've seen that bag instore. The leather is quite soft and squishy if I remember correctly and size-wise I'd say it was medium. Hope that helps!

haha...thanks for the reply hun! Thats reassured me a bit, i think i might just order it and see what its like.
I wish Topshop put measurements on thier accessories so you can judge the size of things! I really begrudge paying PP for stuff too! The Topshop near me never have anything i see on their site in store either!

We're going to have our attic converted over the next couple of months, we'd initially hoped to have it done in March but with my being unwell we put it off a bit, so will prob be summer before the guy can fit us in now. More than likely we're going to move up to the room ourselves as it will be lovely and bright and airy and while our bedrooms are quite large, because this will take up the whole attic it will be a lovely size.
Initially we had considered getting an ensuite put into it, but given a) how much space it would take up and b) the fact that there are only two of us here in the house to start with, we decided not to bother.
While considering some options for the various finishes we can get and seeing what other people had done, it occurred to me that i actually 'could' ask the builders while they're here to put in a little walk in wardrobe for me :o , something I've always wanted. I haven't broached the subject with Mr O yet, but then I kind of know that if I want it he'll tell me to go for it :o  :o , so my only hesitation is, is it worth taking a chunk out of the new room for walk in? or would it be really selfish of me when its Mr O's room as well :cmdunno: :o :cmdunno:
    Answer:
no go for it hun i would love one as you say mr tiny wouldnt mind:D
    Answer:
Do it Tiny. I've got a dressing room and I absolutely love it. OH says it keeps me out of mischief and gives me somewhere to 'play' with my clothes
    Answer:
go for it! like you say, its a big room anyway, so there'll still be plenty of space, plus, and i might get flamed for being sexist here, but i think the bedroom is more of a 'girly' kinda place anyway. i dont think men a really that bothered. they prefer to sit on the loo for three hours! :p than sit in the bedroom.

I agree ! :o and in fact even now I make Mr O use the wardrobe in the spare room because I like to have our wardrobe to myself :o :o
I'll broach the subject with him after I've fed him tea and cakes this evening ! ;)

    Which dress to keep?
Which dress do you think I should keep for my summer ball? They're the same, just different colours. I'm erring towards the white one, because I think that the stronger colour suits me better, and the yellow one is a bit wishy-washy.
    What do you think?
    Answer:
second one I think, both lovely but the colours in the second suit you better
    Where from btw?
    H x
    Answer:
The second one for sure! You look stunning in it (even with a yellow smiley face :p). The reds and greens are far more flattering to your skin tone than the yellow one.
    Where are they from, btw?
    Answer:
the second one is a far nicer colour and suits your colouring far better than the yellow.
    Enjoy the ball!!
    Answer:
I actually prefer the yellow one, I think it looks really lovely :great:

I'm partial to the old Ugly Betty, me and my OH :throb: it! It's how we spend our Friday nights, and They're great! :D
    Answer:
That's curently showing: Peep Show, Ugly Betty.

DVD: Alan Partridge, Early Doors, Buffy, Angel.
    Answer:
I used to HATE Peep Show but I love this series! Like Ugly Bettytoo, The L Word and Heroes....if you haven't seen it yet...you really have to, it's so so good! Also like Family guy and American Dad
Old suff I like: SATC, League of Gentlemen, Buffy and Jonathan Creek.
    Thank god for alluc.org
    Answer:
I love CSI (all of them but Miami is my fave) and NCIS, you've got to give it to the Americans, nobody can touch them when it comes to cheesey, glitzy cop-type shows. Brit wise I love Grand Designs. I also have something of weakness for show like Trisha and Wife Swap where chavs humiliate themselves :o
    Answer:
I have to say that my all time favourite TV programme is Friends - I just never get bored of it!
I also like Corrie, Eastenders, Casualty, Wife Swap and other reality TV programmes, any programmes about animals or murderers/serial killers :o
