Shirts for curves?

NO.1. Ask :
Shirts for curves?
Bravissimo do some fab shirts for big boobs and small(ish!) waist, but they have a limited range.
Does anyone know if I can find fitted shirts like this elsewhere?
Answer:
Hi!
Zara and Mango always seem to have fitted v-neck wrap around shirts which are good for larger boob-sizes :)
Answer:
They are all long-sleeved though. I wish Bravissimo would make their shirts in a petite length.

    NO.2. ask :
    Wanted Black Trousers
Wanted one pair of black trousers for a petite lady. Have to be smart enough to wear of a night out.
Can't find any anywhere. I even tried those slouch trousers from DPs as they could have been taken up and they would have done for just going for a drink (i was desperate :o )
But now i am stuck. The problem first arose when it was mentioned that when i go away for the weekend in March that we would go and get a few drinks as no-one would be driving as we are staying in a hotel. However i suddenly panicked as because i have lost some weight i only own several pairs of jeans!!! Most bars won't let you in in jeans so what the heck do i wear? I dread it if we ended up going to a club (haven't been to a proper club in two years) as at the age of 26 nearly 27 what do i wear? I thought at least black trousers would cover most things but couldn't find a pair so i gave up the idea of going to a club and thought about just going to a bar where it would be more of a relaxed dress code but even a humble pair of DPs don't fit!!!
So what on earth do i do. Tops aren't a problem i seem to have lots of them that would do for either. Up where i am i tend to go to bars that accept jeans but i know out of my area they won't. I'm rambling but i hope i make sense
    Answer:
Where are you going where they don't let you in in jeans? The last time I went to a club nearly everyone had jeans on. It seems a bit odd as loads of people wear jeans to go out dark coloured ones look quite dressy with the right shoes top.
Sorry, I can't help with the black trousers - I'm struggling to find a new pair myself. Warehouse has some but they are very long.
    Answer:
Try Next and Topshop, their petite section.
    Answer:
I just got some in the Next petite section - they're pretty nice; a good fit and seem to "sit" well across the bum iykwim.

what's acceptable packaging (im such a freak lol )
just general queries of what happens!!
    thanks ladies.

    Answer:
I wrap my parcels in bin bags - cheap and secure! I have low postage costs to reflect this though - depends how much you've put for postage I suppose.
    Answer:
I usually wrap the items in the bag that they were purchased in, and sellotape it securely before putting it in a jiffy bag.
Anything will do though, tissue paper or anything similar to keep it from getting damaged.
    Answer:
Jiffy bag or bubble wrap and mailing bag for me :)
    Answer:
i use bubble bags, and also an extra lay inside if the item is extra fragile.
remember to get proof of postage from the post office if you don't send via recorded or special delivery. I've had a few items go missing and this always comes in handy

    Tesco clothes sale rant
I'm not sure if any of you remember me posting about my Tesco clothes bargains a couple of weeks ago...I popped back into Tesco today (was thinking ebay) and they've now peeled all the little yellow labels off that were prices like £2, and put them back up to half price!
Not a lot of point, but I just think it's disgusting. A top I bought for £1.35 is now £7
    Answer:
How weird, why would they do that  (Unless someone made a mistake but I can't see that....)
    Answer:
I know it sounds weird but maybe because they are more expensive they seem more 'clothes people want' where as when things are really cheap you seem to question why and wonder if everyone thinks they are rubbish.
Load of nonsense though isn't it:rolleyes: If they couldn't sell them at 2 pound surely they won't sell them for more?
    Answer:
I bet they only cost 2p to be made anyway and how many billion profit did Tesco make last year?!
    Answer:
    Hmm, weird!
I'm not happy with Tesco at the moment - bought a swimsuit from there the other day, £15 - didn't have time to try it on, tried it on at home - too small. Took it back to get a refund and didn't realise that it was their policy not to give exchanges or refunds on swimwear for hygiene reasons.
I know I'm at fault for not seeing the notices, but what difference does it make if I tried it on at home or in the store - I've still tried it on - the only difference being I took it home to try it on. The tags are still on it, and the hygiene strip still intact. Fuming - £15 down the drain!

To all of you who bought kukui-nut necklaces from ebay last year, can you tell me which seller you got them from or PM me the info. if you aren't allowed to say?
I think a UK seller would be fastest for delivery to Spain, wouldn't they? Oh, and I need the long, black ones - really, really need them - urgently.
    Thanks guys!

    Answer:
I never bought any but I remember Killerheels on ebay used to sell them, she may still do :)
    Answer:
Hiya, I bought mine ages ago so no idea which of the sellers it was. To be honest, I just did a search and picked the seller with good feedback and cheap prices.
    Answer:
Thanks, it's just that one "UK seller" I e-mailed, told me they were shipping from Hawaii .
I've just got an e-mail back from another seller that does next-day delivery and she can ship them out tomorrow so :fingers: she really is in the UK.
Thanks anyway, Loony. I didn't realise I needed them so desperately until this morning - the success (or failure) of an outfit depends on these babies .
PS. Ta djdebz, I had a look at killerheels but she's in California and I don't know if they'll get here on time. x
