Office funboy boots
Hi girlies
Has anyone who ordered these got them yet? Just wondered what they're like, as am seriously toying with the idea of purchasing them. At that price its almost rude not to :faint:
My only concern is how long i'd have to return them to an Office store if they weren't right. Is it still a month or less?
Many thanks if anyone can assist! xx
P.S Why on earth are they called funboy??
Answer:
I was just about to post about these boots! I ordered these a few days ago but my order just says 'pending' and it doesn't look like they have been despatched yet :cmdunno:
I think it is 28 days to return them :)
Anyone else's boots been despatched yet?
Answer:
Thanks Cheeky Girlie. I have just checked the website (not sure why i didn't do this in the first place) and it is indeed 28 days, although it doesn't mention returning them in store which is what i'd like to do. Wonder if its the same. I'm now wondering if they'd let me return them in store at all, Office are so funny with refunds.
:cmdunno:
What colour did you order?
Answer:
Nope, still waiting impatiently for mine. I think they say they try to dispatch all orders within 10 working days though - which is far too long - the suspense is too much.

Christ, 10 days. By the time they arrive i probably won't even like them anymore :fickle:

Shoes
I've got this dress to wear to an awards do (its a daytime do) and was going to wear it with a gold hoopy necklace, i just can't think what sort of shoes would go with it. The dress comes up quite short so not too keen on wearing heels and but also tried it on with gold flip flops and black flats and it just didn't look right, help please!
Thank you!
Answer:
black wedges ? low ones or ballet pumps with a little heel??
Answer:
an black open toe kitten heel would be nice.
love the dress.
Answer:
i'd go for black wedges i think.
Answer:
If you don't want to go for heels definitely some black wedges. Mango had some in a while ago. I can only find a picture of the version at the moment.
These shoes are quite cool, they look better in person and they don't seem that high because the heel is quite chunky.
If you still feel really uncomfortable in heels/ wedges and really don't want to wear flats maybe consider some tights, maybe light greyish if you don't want them to take over or some opaque black ones and work them into your outfit.
The dress is gorgeous btw

my quest for the day ...
Hi, it looks as if I will be popping back to the UK for the week before Easter. As I am obsessing about the girl's clothes in the Kooks video of Ooh La
I have her hairstyle, though lighter in colour, unfortunately the similarity ends there  Could anyone recommend clothing to recreate the dark dress look and the cropped jacket/stripey top/skinny jeans/boots look?
I have a baker boy hat so that is something at least
Oops just forgot I have a deadline (:faint:)
Hope everyone has a nice Monday.

Answer:
in the sense that I want to recreate the look from clothes from High Street stores and as it will be a quick trip it would be good to know what to aim for :o sorry I was not very clear  (due to sudden deadline-realization  )

Hi there
I am a large 14 and wondered how these come up in sizes.whether they would be a small cut or not.
As I live in Spain,I'm going to ask some relatives to bring some over,I can order off the web and get them sent to their houses.
I'm also worried about the quality, are they extremely see through etc.
Thank you

Answer:
They're not see-through at all, they're very big cut though. I'm a 12 and the 10 still drowned me, didnt try on any smaller sizes. :cmdunno:
Answer:
The ones from last summer at least were spot on imo.
Answer:
Thanks piglet maybe a 14 will be Ok then

Yes, they would be fine even if you are a large 14. Should be no problemo! They're very 'floaty' I find.

Help me find a cheap going out outfit....
I'm in a rutt!!!
It's my boyfriends birthday on Sunday so we're all going out on Saturday night for drinking and dancing. I can't think of anything to wear, i haven't been out for a couple of months and quite a few girls are going to i'll need to look good. Problem is i'm on a budget!!!
Any ideas??:cmdunno:
Answer:
What sort of a budget chick?
Answer:
I think you can never go wrong with Jeans, Heels and a nice dressy top when in doubt! You'll prob have some jeans and heels, so then all you need to hunt out is a nice top! Try the usual DP, TS, MissS websites for ideas??
Or a tunic style dress with leggings and heels?
What is your usual style, it is pointless going in comething youwould be completetly uncomfortable in as you wouldn't feel right and enjoy your evening how it should be enjoyed!!
Answer:
prabably about £50 tops.
I bought some black skinny jeans from next the other day and i'm more than happy with leggings but i'm a bit sick of all the patterned things that you see 20 people in - if you know what i mean.
I want to look nice but also a bit different, a bit classy - does that make sense??
Answer:
if you've got £50 buy a dress... a plain dress that's always classy.
