Ever have one of those days...
where no outfit is good enough?
I'm sat here trying to plan what to take with me if i go away this weekend and i can't think of a flipping thing! So uninspired!
Partly i blame this due to lack of good boots since having to send the OTK topshop ones back:boohoo: I like statement boots but don't seem to have any (in black, the colour i need)
I'm tempted to wear a bin bag :D
Is this inbetween seasonitus or am i losing my interest in fashion? Can't be the last one :D
How's everyone else feeling?
Answer:
You, losing your interest in fashion CiC? Will never happen
I know what you mean though, I always get days like that.. if I'm having a bad hair day or PMS, or if it's raining then it seems to be 10 times worse. Just one of those days - I'm sure you'll be back to normal soon!
Maybe have a flick through some fashion mags or online to get a bit of new inspiration :)
Answer:
Hmmm I'm having a dilemma trying to figure out what to wear to the Jodeci concert on Tues nite! :uzzle:
Answer:
Me too!!
I've bought loads of new bits recently but still look at my clothes and feel uninspired. Think I'm sick of the cold weather, roll on spring.
Just feel I don't wear enough of my wardrobe, keep thinking about a clear out but then think no I wear that about everything I look at to throw out  .
Think I might wait for the new season and see what I fancy then clear out my wardrobe to make a bit of space.

High Heels and Bra Pads!
NO.2. ask :
High Heels and Bra Pads!
Hope this is posting it in the right place!
I don't know if anyone else has ever posted about this before but on a night out a few weeks back I had decided to wear a lovely pair of black round to shoes with the thinnest and highest heel I own. Needless to say, by 1.30am I was on the dancefloor barefoot and my shoes were lodged in the corner under a pile of heres.
Anyway, I mentioned wishing i'd bought some gel cushions when someone said that they were a complete waste of money and there was a diy solution to painful feet. Bra pads. Apparently taking the bra pads out and slipping them into the same place where you would put gel cushions is cheaper, less slippery and much more effective!
I'll feel a bit daft and knowing my luck the pads will drop out at some point through the night, but I think i'll give it a go!
Answer:
Surely the padding would be too thick though and make sure shoes tight
My pads would be too big for my shoes too
Answer:
i bought some of those party feet and they were the biggest waste of money ever cos they just scrunch up between your toes making your shoes so uncomfortable.
Answer:
CiC, methinks she meant small pads from bras. La Senza and Ann Summers sell the pads on their own and they're thin enough to wear in shoes.
Obviously walking around with a wonderbra stuffed in your shoes wouldn't do you any favours at all! :p
And I agree ipswich, total waste of money. Mine didn't scrunch up though, they just made me fall over a few times and then decided to just flop gracefully out of the corners of my sandals. Not exactly a good look.
Answer:
i bought these a while ago, they're pretty much the same thing??
Is it worth.....
NO.3. ask :
Is it worth.....
.....getting a bottle of Ugg shampoo or stain repellent from Ebay?
I have ordered some Uggs from Hartings which should arrive soon but as I've spent all that money out on them I don't want them to get ruined. Has anyone bought either of the two products I mentioned or would a suede brush be just as effective?
Lisa xxx
P.S. Tried to do a search for this but whenever I type anything into the search engine it comes up with no matches - even if I put the word 'Ugg' in I know there are millions of threads on them!
Answer:
Anyone? :)
Lisa xxx
Answer:
The search engine's not working just now, as it's causing problems with the whole database and basically buggering the boards
I don't know about using special stuff for Ugg boots, as I don't have a pair, but any suede boots I've had in the past have been fine with the normal stuff you can get from shoeshops or cobblers.
Or if you're looking for extra protection, I'd advise Nikwax, but check it on a tiny inconspicuous place first!
Answer:
I bought suede protector spray from barratts a while ago and it's fantastic. Not sure if you want something specific for Uggs, though.
They cost £5 and you can get them from any barratts store.
Answer:
I just sprayed mine with suede protector and they haven't stained :)

Making yourself a denim miniskirt
NO.5. ask :
Making yourself a denim miniskirt
I can't be bothered to buy a new denim miniskirt when I've got loads of old pairs of jeans that have no use anymore.
Can anyone advise me exactly how to do this? I'm guessing you just cut the legs off and stitch the seams together, but has anyone done it and does it actually look alright as a miniskirt?
Answer:
Hi!
Id say it would work out fine but if you are bit lazy like me when it comes to this sort of thing why not have it done by a specialist?
I have a pair of 7´s FAMK (A pockets, Tx! Annanas!) and since I lost a bit of weight I am thinking about having them made into a mini too...but to be honest, I would not risk it doing it myself as afraid of ruining item...especially as you need identical thread and stuff :( :)
Answer:
Thanks Miss S.
My jeans are old ones from Next- perfectly wearble still but I just don't seem to get round to it!
I was thinking I might be able to get with a dark thread if it was subtle stitches and it was near the seam....hmmm, not sure!
