Good sites for dream-dress-shopping!
Anyone know any good sites for window-shopping? A bit like that daydreaming thread Nazneen did the other day...I'm bored and fancy finding myself a gorgeous dress to daydream about, the only sites I know of though are Neiman Marcus and NAP!

New designer site: my-wardrobe.com
I found this website on a search engine. Its seems to be like another Netaporter and has some beautiful clothes. Has anyone ever heard ot it or bought from them?

Answer:
Even if you have never heard of it before, what does anyone think on looking at the site?
Answer:
Haven't heard of it, sorry! Nice site, but very out of my price range!
To refund or not to refund?
NO.3. ask :
To refund or not to refund?
I sold a belt on ebay just less than two months ago. As requested, I sent it to the buyer via special delivery as soon as his cheque cleared.
A month later I receive an email saying 'item has not arrived despite paying extra for special delivery. please advise.'. When I checked the tracking number on the website it said that he had not been in when they tried to deliver it (the day after I sent it!) and had left a card.
He denied all knowledge of the card, and when he trundled off to the depot it had been over 3 weeks so he was told that it had been returned to sender. It arrived back on my doorstep yesterday, and I e-mailed saying I'd re-send it if he sent me the postage again.
He's now e-mailed back saying that he wants a refund, as 'it has now been a month and a half'
As a policy, I don't refund, and seeing as it isn't my fault that he didn't collect it I don't think that this is fair. Especially since I've been in contact so much regarding the belt's whereabouts etc etc etc. I'm more than happy to email and tell him this, and suggest that he just pays for the postage and then re-sells it himself.
However, he only paid £4.70 for the belt. It is a wide leather one with a slim gold buckle - very waist cincing, corset like. I'm tempted just to refund and re-sell it myself, possibly for more than I got originally.
Do you think that this belt would sell for more than that? Bearing in mind it's a shite picture and I'd use a better one this time.
Also, would I need to file a NPB report, so that he can't turn round and give me a non-sending seller report if I resell it?
Sorry, I know that this is a bit of an essay, I'm just in two minds over what to do.
Thanks, BB x
Answer:
Oh sorry, the other question is that if I did refund him, do I refund postage too? Or would that leave me out of pocket considering it's already been paid for? I'm confused!!
Answer:
I would refund just the belt amount, for good "customer relations" - but not the postage - you shouldn't be out of pocket because he couldn't be bothered to collect his item, and definitely make a note of what happened.
Answer:
No I wouldn't refund him cos what plonker decides to go to the POdepot 3 weeks later and then complains an enire MONTH later!!! I'd have contacted you within a week to say it hadn't arrived!
Sorry but for his own stupidity, he deserves sweet FA!
You have proof you sent it so you're covered either way regradless of whether he files a complaint against youw ith Ebay. They'll ask for proof of postage - which you have!
Answer:
First, the Non-Performing Seller report won't hurt you at all. It takes loads to get someone kick off.
Second if you do refund, it would be out of goodwill and only for the item price. I probably would refund just his purchase price and be done with it.
If he wants it re-sent, he'll have to pay for it.
I would send him his money (minus postage) and resell it because i think you could probably get more money from it.
Oh and block him from your auctions.
Third, I wouldn't file a Non-Paying Bidder on him because he did pay, even if he behaving like an ***.
Sidenote - why did it take this long for it to come back if it was sent special delivery?
Will I get a cash refund or have to exchange?
NO.4. ask :
Will I get a cash refund or have to exchange?
My friend ordered some jewellery from TS for me and it arrived yesterday afternoon and looks horrible - really tacky and cheap. The price of the stuff beggers belief actually.
Anyway ..I have the packing notes and at the bottom it says I can go instore and use these as a receipt but I was wondering will I get a cash refund or get vouchers?
I don't mind either way but just wondered and can't be assed to ring Zoom on their 0870 no and be held in a queue!!!

i wud have thought vouchers as obv you cant buy online with cash and it usually has to go back the same way it was paid. ring your local branch. they would know and you wouldnt have to go into the 0870 number
Answer:
I was wondering this too as most of the stuff i order isn't from my own card and i'm sure you'd have to have the payee's card to have a refund:confused:
Will keep an eye on this thread :detect:

Yeah that's what I thought and there's no mention of my friends details on the notes at all.
Ok will give local branch a call ..1 sec
Answer:
Just rang local TS ..SA said if I wanted a refund then my friend would have to come in and be refunded back onto her card but I can exchange the stuff for something of the equivalent value myself instore.
So I'm gonna go and exhange the stuff for something else on Sat morning.
Fabric Softener?
NO.5. ask :
Fabric Softener?
Just wondered if everyone uses fabric softener or not?
I don't because I'd read somewhere that they can rot fabric of clothes, but I don't know if this is true or not.
I'm tempted to try it, but not if it will shorten the life of my clothes.
Thanks!
Answer:
I use fabric softener on all my clothes bar towels because they don't absorb the water so well if they have been washed with fabric softener. ;)
Answer:
I always use fabric softener. Had no problems so far! (other than my constant dyeing accidents with new jeans and white underwear  )
Answer:
we never use fabric conditioner, I don't see the point in pouring a load of chemicals on your clothes
Answer:
I use fabric softener most of the time. Hasn't damaged any of my clothes :)
