Weekend thread?
Has it been started for this weekend yet? If not, I'll go because I'm having a fairly eventful one for once :D
Friday night - party at college, I'll be wearing the Zara brown and cream dotty dress with Hobbs midnight blue metallic round toed heels with ankle strap or bronze sparkly pumps, with bronze leather bag and simple little earrings.
Saturday: OH and I will be helping friends move house so wearing old cord skirt and UGGs and accessorised with my toolkit (yup! OH is the muscle in our relationship - he's super-strong mmm - but I'm the flatpack builder and general handywoman! we'd make a great removals team :D)
Sunday: OH's parents and grandmother are driving up for lunch and a mosy around Oxford to celebrate his new job. I might wear the dotty dress again or if not my sparkly grey-brown tweed skirt and green top.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Sounds like a fun weekend, and love your outfit suggestions!
I have my usual weekend - studying, exams are only six weeks away :cmeek: :faint: :boohoo: :break: :banghead: :160205:
Although I'm having some friends round on Saturday evening, for which I'm making a Morroccan serpent cake.
Might also try to get to the cinema - if so, I'll wear my new tan suede buckle boots and that little red dress with flowers on from Miss Selfridge that AMP posted about a while ago.
Have great weekends, everyone :D

Love the sound of your outfit ce soir Nazneen. Which college are you at again?
I am going to try and have a quietish weekend, as I had a massive weekend last weekend, and was in amsterdam for work this week which was also knackering, so I need some lie-ins!!!
Tonight I am going to body pump then out for dinner near mine with my ex boyfriend, so not dressing up as don't want to give him the wrong idea!
Tomorrow, have some DIY bits to do then going to meet a friend in clapham for lunch, then off to mitchey's for drinks then to a party back in clapham. Am going to wear tweed/goldy short shorts with black opaques, black HM boob tube with big bow, gold chains etc, with flat black vintage boots and a polo neck for lunch then TS black platform snakeskin courts and no polo neck for the party :rawk:
Sunday am going to brick lane and spitalfields to buy some bits for my new flat, so will wear denim cutoff mini, opaques, flat boots and a warm jumper!
Have a great weekend everyone

I've got no definite plans for tonight as of yet but tommorrow we're going to Edinburgh for the night. I haven't got an outfit sorted for the day but for the night I was thinking my jeans, black corset top and a silk pink (brain died, can't remember word I'm looking for but little mini-cardigan thing!) with my new pink sandals.
Although now I'm debating whether the corset will go with the pink top over..any thoughts?
Hope everyone has a great weekend anyway! :)

I've got a girls weekend planned - Mr Stoli is away so we're taking full advantage of a man free house!
Tonight we're staying in and having a catch up over large amounts of wine so it'll be jeans, Uggs and slouchy jumpers.
Saturday we're going to out for shopping and lunch (with more wine!) in Manchester so I think I'll go for skinnys and boots with a long top to cover the excess food and wine consumption! Not sure whether to go for tan boots and blue Stella McCartney HM top or LK Bennett black boots and black and white top combo yet. Either way I'll be taking my Marc Jacobs Blake here with me!
Sunday I'd imagine I won't get out of my PJ's! But they are Ralph Lauren (darling!) ;)
Have a good weekend whatever you all get up to.
What to wear to a wedding
NO.2. ask :
What to wear to a wedding
I've got a wedding to go to in six weeks and haven't got a clue what to wear!! THe wedding ishere and the reception is herehere
Answer:
It does help with this type of thread if we know roughly what you look like, what your usual style is and if you have anything that you particularly don't want to wear. Also, is the wedding formal, or a bit more low-key? My guess is that the wedding venue looks as though it could be quite formal, but the reception looks like it might be more laidback? Could be way off though!

What time of year is it? I reckon you can't go wrong in a day dress (not black, it's too eveningy and kind of funereal for a wedding and not white because the bride should be the only one in white) with a hat. And perhaps a matching jacket. I've got a lovely turquoise silk dress with matching jacket that's done me proud at many weddings.

Ebay prices
NO.5. ask :
Ebay prices
How much would I get on Ebay (per pair) for some reasonably good condition shoes and sandals? I also have some skirts and tops, and was wondering how much they usually go for?
I suppose what I'm asking is: is it really worth my while selling things on Ebay, when it would be easier to give them to a charity shop?
Answer:
Depends what kind they are really. We'd have to see pics to advise.
If they are fairly modern and in good condition or unworn i've made anything from £6 to £20 :)
ETA: I just remembered i made £30 for some river island boots i had worn a fair bit. They were in good condition but had a couple of chips in the heels (mentioned in the listing) i couldn't believe it when they went for that!
Answer:
Ebayers like designer stuff or high end high street. Unnamed stuff rarely goes for much.
