Dorothy Perkins
Has anyone managed to actually order anything from them yet?
I've been in both the Manchester stores and the concessions for this one skirt thats on the website and none of them stock it and now the website is playing silly beggars!
Answer:
I ordered a black/animal print vest top which came last week and some vintage jeans yesterday which I should get on Monday. The website was being odd yesterday when I was trying to put my details in, the boxes were all in the wrong places and over the top of each other. Their delivery service is abit rubbish as they wouldn't leave the parcel with my neighbour and wanted me to go to Blackburn to collect it! Luckily the second courier left it with my neighbour but I'm having it delivered to work this time!

Quick reply needed- hartings own brand uggs?
Hellooo..would really appreciate if someone who's bought these boots could give me a hand with the sizing?
My real tall sand uggs got ruined in the wash (My friend told me she washed her on a cool wash and they were fine :boohoo: ) so anyway I've just come to order a new pair and a) They're not available until June and b) They've put the prices up and I can't justify 110 pounds on a pair of boots which only last one year (They're light and get dirty quickly!) so was wonderıng which sıze to order in the hartings brand?
I'm a UK4 in the UGG brand and a UK6 usually.
I've actually had the hartings own brand ones a few years ago and think they're still around somewhere but the house is beıng decorated so not got any access to anything atm.
Also one fınal question to people who've tried both brands- are they comparable ın terms of warmth? I really can't remember :o
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help x
Answer:
There's a seller on ebay selling genuine uggs for for around £80 with postage if that's any good? She hasn't got many listed but might be worth emailing her?
Answer:
Ohh thanks Cat- do you know her name? :)
I've finally decıded that I'd need a 5 ın the hartings ones but when I clıck the dropdown box to change it to '1 paır' ıt just stays on 0 pairs so I'm guessing they're not available eitherç althought it doesnt say anything about that on the site

I'll PM you :)

Help! What to wear to an engagement party
Hello,
Its our engagement party tomorrow night at PIL2B house, no dress code as such but been advised that some people are getting dress up, although some will be more low key. IYSWIM. Been so busy organising everything I forgot to sort out what I'm wearing?
Any suggestions?
Cx
Answer:
i got a really cute cotton dress from Primark today in blue and also in white. It is really pretty, but also versatile as I am planning on wearing it during the day time, and then dressing it up with jewlery and accessories for evening. it is good for that inbetweeny look when you want to look smart but not too over the top.
Answer:
Wow Nursie :faint:
You have an amazing style Diary, I am very jealous. All the outfits look gorgeous.
Answer:
ah thanks thats very sweet of you to say so. I hope you manage to find something nice to wear. it is tricky when people are wearing different dress codes. just as long as you feel confident and happy with what you are wearinghats all that counts!
Answer:
Thanks Nursie! Ended up wearing jeans with my fav top heels. A Fav outfit which everyone has seen, but I'm comfortable feel good in it.

fashion advice please!
Hi all
Just a wee bit of advice needed.
Im still love wearing fishnet tights when i go out, usually with cropped trousaurs.I always wear heels that are covering my toes but i have recently seen some lovely peep toes but arnt sure if they would be suitable with fishnets showing?
Also what do you peeps think about coloured fishnets? should they be worn with matching shoe colours or can clashing work?
thank you please.
fefex
Answer:
Yes, I'd wear peeptoes with (non-nude!) fishnets.
I'd definitely go with clashing colours rather than trying to match them - that just looks wrong to me,
g_k
Answer:
I think its perfectly acceptable to wear fishnets with peeptoes. It's up to you if they tone or clash - either will work great :)
Answer:
Hello :) I think peep toes are fine as long as it is only a tiny bit of toe showing :)
Dyeing?
NO.5. ask :
Dyeing?
At the risk of boring everyone to death with another HM Chloe tunic thread (sorry) I've managed to completely ruin mine  It's got two stains on it that are never going to come out - I'm fuming..... Anyway, do you think I could dye it from cream to black? It's natural fabrics so it should be OK and TBH I'm not going to wear it as it is but I'm a bit scared of doing it!
:thanks:
Answer:
Toosh, The danger is that the stitching won't take. I'm a big fan of dyeing things and this has happened numerous times to me. The problem is that while the fabric may be natural the "cotton" used to sew it up isn't. You may end up with a black shirt with white stitching!! :p
Answer:
Check out the dylon website for which fabrics will take the dyes. I have machine dyed many things, but the stiching has never taken the dye. it doesn't bother me as I like the effect it gives, but it is worth keeping in mind.
Answer:
Why don't you try dyeing it a nice dark damson/light purple colour? I think that even if the stitching stayed white then, it will still be lovely with indigo jeans and crops? :)
Answer:
I think that Tiny has a fab idea there.
It is most likely that the stitching is polyester, which you can't dye.
