Anyone else STILL uninspired?

NO.1. Ask :
Anyone else STILL uninspired?
I don't know whether it's me having been ill and tired lately, as well as pretty strapped for cash, but my fashion enthusiasm still hasn't picked up since before Christmas!
I'm hoping that a proper sort out of my clothes might work, but I dunno :meh:
I'm looking forwards to the summer, definitely, and have quite enjoyed putting outfits together for work but other than that not much.
Maybe life has got in the way? I don't know!
Please tell me it's not just me!
Answer:
yeh, I'm the same. I bl;ame the weather, tbh I'm pretty uninspired by everything at the moment , things usually perk up come spring though!
Answer:
Me me me!! I seem to be wearing the same outfits all the time, long line vests with shrugs and either pumps or heels, and just do versions of this outfit during the day and going out at night. I feel so flippin boring! I love all the chiffony blouses and tops out at the moment but they dont fit right on me because my boobs are much bigger than my torso and I look like a big round tent :(
Answer:
Me, i look about 12 years old in everything i wear.
Answer:
Glad (well, not, but you know what I mean...) to hear it's not just me!
I think the weather might have something to do with it. I'm trying to start packing for London and all I can think to base my outfit round is berluddy thermals incase it's cold! :faint: lost cause, completely.
And yes, uninspired is the exact word!

    Answer:
    no no no:head:
    compliment each other yes.
But matchy matching is a bit wrong in my opinion!
    Answer:
Sometimes, I tru to have 2 accessories matching, bag and shoes, bag and belt or something. It doesn't always work though, especially for uni where I only have one bag big enough to fit everything in. :o
    Answer:
    No
    Answer:
not really,no but i do try to match them!

    NO.3. ask :
    The Fashion Debate
I thought it would be nice to have a monthly fashion debate. What do you think? Anyway, even if it doesn't hit off, here's this month's:
Stick with a style that suits you - classical is never in and therefore neevr out
    YES or NO?
    Answer:
    Good idea klosie :)
I agree to a certain extent - it's nice to have classic pieces in your wardrobe that you can rely on. However, it's also nice to update them with current trends to make outfits a bit more interesting. If you just stuck to the same clothes all the time and didn't try anything new then it would get boring and you'd never have anything to give your outfits a bit of an edge.
    Answer:
That's what I was thinking... hence my sig ;)
I think if you always just stick to stuff you look good in, you might miss a style that ALSO really suits you and then fashion will just be boring because it's same old same old. Stuck in a rut.
HOWEVER, I don't think I would really change my style as often as my shooes because that's just a too expensive habit and abit pointless.
Conclusion: I sway towards you SHOULDN'T stay with classical style just make sure you don't follow trends blindly either. I for one am already sick to death of polka dots.
    Answer:
I agree with pochacco, that it would become very boring if you stuck to the same piece forever. My perspective on this would be to stick to shapes that suit you but intergrate fashionable items. For example, I know I can only wear skirts which come to just under the knee or midway up my upper leg so I only ever buy skirts in those lengths but in varying textures and colours/patterns. I think you have to take a very Trinny and Susannah approach to shapes and colours that suit you.
    Answer:
i agree, you see some complete tits walking round in the latest trend just cos its the latest trend, when it doesnt suit them and looks absolutely hideous!!
so, i think some classic pieces and some fashionable pieces all mixed together in one fab fashion soup type thing! :yay:

    Outfit you love?
What outfit have you worn recently that you really liked wearing and didnt want to take off?
I had on a lovely sort of cornflower blue sweater that is slouchy and hangs off the shoulder and is very low v necked.Underneath i had a peach vest. One side is hanging down just above my elbow.I got a another star to add to my half sleeve,so the top is handy to let my arm recover and also shows it off.
I had on nice diesel jeans, slouchy ones
    Pink converse
I felt quite funky, which i find hard because im a size 18 and dont want to look like im wearing too baggy clothes or sloppy.
    anybody else?
    Answer:
1 Attachment(s) Last weekend I went out relatively dressed-down but friends said the outfit looked good and I was comfy! I had on my trusty gap ultra low jeans, wide alice band, black ballet flats, and my new dotty cardi from La Redoute:

or do other people buy kids shoes? :o I don't do it very often but I find kids flat shoes generally better fitting, plus they're cheaper too. Am I strange? :o
    Answer:
Wish I could with my big size sevens :(
    Answer:
    I'm with you rosali. :(
    Answer:
I've brought a couple of pairs, one was some slouchy boots and they were half the price ;)
    Answer:
M and S kids shoes go up to a size 7.
I was thinking of doing this, am a bit broke at the moment.
They must be ok, kids run around and jump alot, so they must be built to last.
I am so tempted, would save lotsof money.;) ;)
