what are the best skinny jeans
please help!
I have tried on loads of skinny jeans but they all seem to have too much fabric at the bottom to go in my boots which do you ladies have?
and how do you get them in your boots without the saggy/ wrinkled knee effect?
Answer:
hiya missdee - if you check out the skinny jeans thread that's on here at the mo, people are recommending primark, and earnest sewn or sass bide if you have a bit more cash
there's probably loads of other threads on here too if you do a search:)
Answer:
I just let mine wrinkle - I'm 5"1 and gave up on finding any in my length
Answer:
I have a pair of Earl skinny jeans which I bought a few years ago and they are a perfect fit - try e*bay for some reasonably priced ones!
Answer:
I had exactly the same problem until I got my HM skinnies. :D They are very tight-fitting at the bottom so I have no trouble tucking them into boots.
If you're talking about length then why not turn them up at the bottom? That's what I do when I have jeans that are way too long for me. I'm only 5'2" so that's nearly always the case.
Places I know that do petite ranges are Topshop (although I don't buy any jeans from there as they never seem to fit properly), Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge also Next have got loads of skinny jeans in their new Spring/Summer collection that come in various leg lengths. :)
I don't really mind having the 'wrinkly knee effect' but try tucking your jeans into your boots when you're standing up as if you sit down they tend to 'rise' then sag when you stand up. Other than that all I can suggest it pulling your jeans up but then they're always going to fall down when you walk. I think it's just part of the look really so I wouldn't worry too much about it. :)

My new waisted belt !!
I've never been able to do the whole low slung belts thing before because of my decidedly bubble shaped bum, they don't sit right, but these waist belts are amazing! and so slimming!
I bought a gorgeous one from topshop yesterday and wore it out last night, and got the most compliments ever, I just want to wear it every day now !
Answer:
I love it when that happens! Those waist belts look gorgeous when on the right person. Though as someone with a bubble butt and a bubble waist, I can't say waist cinchers are working for me
Answer:
Do you have a pic?? I love the waist belt thing too and am looking for another one.
Answer:
I am loving my waist-cinchers too! I have 4 wide belts, 3 skinny belts and one obi-style belt. Sometimes I'll tie a ribbon or scarf around my waist obi style. Really helps brighten up my dull workwear ;)
Answer:
hmm I'm still not so sure - I have a bubble bum, and a decent set of bubbletitties too - but making my waist even narrower just seems to highlight the size of my sticky-outey bits.:(
Anyone ordered from Victoria's Secret?

Anyone ordered from Victoria's Secret?
Just wondering what the fit is like.
I fancy the wrap cashmere cardy and it looks quite tight - not sure whether I'd need an 8 or 10 (usually a 12 UK).
Any tips?
Minky
Fitted is good, tight is not!!
Answer:
yes, lots of times.
i order a 12, as i'm usually a UK 14.
Longline slouchy vests and long line bell sleeved tees for the summer, i ordered a medium, which was a slightly looser fit, which is the fit that i desired.
if it looks a bit tight, i'd order a US10 for a UK 12 fit.
its a bugger though isn't is as VS delivery/pp isn't cheap is it

PVxx
Answer:
I've always ordered an XS or a 2 - I'm a UK 6-8 but very small on top. I've got the tees that PV mentioned and the size XS was not tight, just comfy - PV I hope they do them again this summer mine are worn out!
I might err on the side of caution and go for the bigger size as you can always wrap it that little bit tighter.
The trouble is with VS is that it's a pain to order two sizes to see for fit as you'll get charged customs on both, even if you're going to return one.
Sorry I can't be more use, but I'd be really interested to know what their cashmere is like, so let me know when it arrives!
Answer:
Would it not be cheaper to order via shop the states and maybe save on the customs charges as well?
I want quite a bit from them but have been put off cos of the high (stupidly so) shipping charges, I've finally got round to getting a US addy so may try it that way.
Sorry I can't help with the sizing Minky.

I'm chuffed as they're PERFECT for fitting over my bump still, they're super long aren't they!
