2 pairs of "work" shoes - sensible round toe, smallish heel, one black pair, one brown pair - nothing fancy
and one pair of knee high brown bronx lace up victorian style high heeled round toed boots that will look great over my skinnies, just for the sheer hell of it. :yay:

seriously though,spend some time thinking about what you want.if you want a phrase or quote then it should be something that means something to you and will stand you in good stead.

I have just these as well!! I wear them as they were tied in the shop - with the original knot - so they are quite long. Although I might try them tied shorter next time..

I need to iron a cotton skirt with pleats in it. And it just wont work :(
It's really difficult, can someone please give me some advice?

Have you tried pinning the bottom of the pleats where they should be as the skirt hangs there before you take it to the ironing board?
These kind of skirts are a bit of a pain as even pinning the whole length of the pleats before you wash doesn't always work and you end up having to dry clean them :(
