low rise cords??
Hi!
I'm hankering after some cord trousers at the moment, but my memory of cords is that they always seem pretty bulky round the waist.
Has anyone seen on their travels some low rise cords? I've had TS cords before, and found these too high up :confused:

They always do all sorts of cord trousers/city shorts in lots of colours and they always seem to be quite well fitted at the waist too :)

argh, the trouble is, Zara jeans/trousers always seem to be so long, whereas I'm a real short-arse :o I want flared/bootcut, and worried that if I shorten them, that will just make them more straight leg? don't ask for much, do I :rolleyes:
Will def. check zara and mango out though - maybe they will have remembered that there are short people out there too! hehe

he he he ;) I have a few trousers/city shorts too (too many colours, needless to mention as sickening) and they fit fine.
Ohara, it is true about Zara“s long lengths as they hope to be able to target all heights...however, Mango do slighter shorter versions and the quality is also a bit better.
Do have a look before winter sales end as you might find lots still!

just been into primark where i bought a lovely grey shrug, a necklace and sparkly bracelet, all for £6, awesome! however, i also tried on a pair of skinnies that were "regular" length. i really liked the fit but they were slightly too short. i was wondering if anyone knows if they do a "long" length as they were really cool and actually flattering.

looks like i just need to dig around! was in the one in leeds so it was a bit shambolic. i get lots of compliments on being tall (5'11) but its a nightmare getting trousers that keep my ankles warm!

Oh thats weird. I am 5ft 11" and particularly leggy and I have never even thought about the leg length in Primark, I have a couple of pairs of their skinnies and although I am a 14/16 and bought a pair of 12's and a pair of 10's, they are both well long enough for me? :confused:
Maybe your right and you just need to pick a few up and compare the lengths, I don't think Primark are particularly consistent!

Just received my parcel from Yoox with two pairs of Marni flats and they only went and send one pair in a 36 instead of 39. When I ordered it, it was the last pair in my size, so, naturally, I missed out on them now. I'm fuming :mad:
The second pair seems bit big so I'll have to order it in half a size smaller and see that that fits better because they don't do exchanges. Pah!
Can't believe I recommended Yoox to a bagger only a few days ago saying I've never had a problem with them :head:

The cream are very cute, go really well with this dress from Top Shop. I just need to see which size fits me better now.
Also noticed that the cream pair don't have a security tag attached to them so I hope they won't kick up the stink if I decide to return them.

I would wear it with a denim or beige short skirt and brown tights and boots. And some funky bracelets.

The denim skirt combo sounds good or you could also wear it with linen cream or beige a-line skirts during spring and heels and a funky leather belt and long chunky necklace :)
I am also imagining it with an embroidered beige a-line knee length skirt as the top is plain so you can get away with wearing something “busy“as bottoms ;)
