What should I wear on my legs????
NO.2. ask :
What should I wear on my legs????
Hi everyone,
I need some help deciding what the do with my legs!!! I'm just about to make a black velvet pencil skirt which is going to be just below the knee and want to wear my fab new suede black wedge platforms. Now the problem I have is that I'm by no means an expert on high heels and was thinking of wearing tights of some sort (instead of the usual false tan) for a bit of extra comfort in the foot area. I do like the black patterned thights and black fishnets but I don't have the best legs. Do you have to have slim legs to be able to get away with these.
Can anyone suggest anything flattering or should I stick to plain old natural tights instead?
Please help!!!!!
Answer:
A pattern that goes up your leg as opposed to across your leg can be quite flattering. I have a pair of tights with a sort of ivy design growiong up my leg which are quite nice. I got them in Dunnes Stores Dublin but I'm sure you can get them or something like them elsewhere.
Natural tights are also lovely- can I see your shoes??
Answer:
Thanks for that Clarice, I'll see what I can find.
Sorry I don't have a photo of my shoes, I'm a bit of a dunce when it comes to all things computer, I can do what I need to for work and surf the net, thats as far as it goes.
They're similar to ones they have in Marks and Spencer, Product Code T025265W

Lush Basg
Hi All
I am looking to buy a Lush bag (as a pressie to myself for my birthday).
Can you recommend an e-bay seller? I have seen the lush website but would like to look at other avenues. Can anyone help?
Thanks

Everyone on here uses natalie286
Answer:
Thanks.
I have looked at her bags - will have to have a long hard think
Answer:
Just out of interest, is there any reason you'd prefer ebay?
I was thinking about it when I got my Roxy but then bella made the good point that if you have any problems, it'll be far easier to sort them out through a real company than an ebay seller! I don't think the price difference is that great any more either.
Answer:
You're right about dealing with a real company.
Will have a look at the lush website again.
Thanks
New suit for interviews
NO.4. ask :
New suit for interviews
Hi
After working in the media sector for a couple of years I'm now looking for a new job. My background is a bit varied and as such I could be applying for jobs anywhere from a lawfirm, consultancy, investment bank, music company, TV company.
As I've only had to wear casual clothes to work for the last couple of years I need to invest in a new suit for interviews.
Can anyone recommend where I could get a nice suit that will be suitable for any of the companies above and how I can make it look different for multiple interviews with the same company.
I went out and bought a few suits last time I was job hunting and ended up never wearing any of them so thought I would just get one nice one and accessorise it.
Please help!!
Thanks
Sxx
Answer:
I find Next have a good selection of both trouser and skirt suits and are reasonably priced. Wallis is good too and Principles. MS sometimes go the 'frumpy' route, but they're always worth a look.
Hope you find something
RB
Answer:
I second the vote for Next - they are excellent for work suits and all things "officey". They also have a good range of sleeveless fitted tank tops that you could get in maybe a couple of colours to vary the look? Dont forget the MS Autograph bit also. I hear you about them being frumpy but the Autograph bit has a far better cut even if you do pay a little extra.
I have a couple of work suits from Next and its also worth mentioning that they are machine washable which saves on expensive trips to the d/cleaners (as long as you are a dab hand with the iron!)
Answer:
Thanks for the advice.
Had a mooch around the shops today and ended up with a charcoal grey pinstrip trouser suit from Warehouse.
All set for Monday's interview now!! :yay:
Fingers crossed!
