Very cheeky request to anyone going to the clothes show
Cue begging thread :D
My mate just quickly popped in to drop off some xmas presents on her way back up north. She had been sprayed with Fantasy tan and it looked fab!
Once she had gone i looked online for it where it is 15 pound a can. She has just informed me in a text that she got 6 bottles for 15 pound:eek:
So if anyone is going to the clothes show and sees the Fantasy tan in a can, 6 for 15 pound could you please pick them up for me?
I will of course cover costs but obviously i'm not allowed to go into that on the boards as it's against the rules;)
So if anyone could 'pick them up' (;) ) for me i would be most greatful!
Thanks
Answer:
I want some too now!!!I am pasty white!
Answer:
6 for £15- are you sure? That's brilliant!
erm..if anybody who's going could pick me some up :o
Answer:
I bought this at the Ideal Home Exbo ( I know, what was I doing buying fake tan at the Ideal Home but hey, homey stuff gets boring!:p )
I think it was a tenner a can and deffo not 6 cans for £15.That sounds an amazing bargain.
Jennifer Anniston apparantly uses Fantasy Tan....
Answer:
I just confirmed with my friend that that was the price:eek:
They was doing the spray gun with 3 bottles of spray for 30 quid:eek:
Begging some more for anyone going to clothes show, pwetty pwease:flirt:

    What does everyone else think?

    What does everyone else think?
That I am very jealous of all of those Baggers who have the figure to even consider buying some ;)
    Answer:
If you've got the figure for them, then go for it! I hated the idea of white skinnies at first, couldn't imagine how they'd suit everyone, but having seen how well Bibbitybob pulls hers off in her StyleDiary I really like them! (hope she doesnt mind me mentioning it :) )
ETA - You must have the figure for them though, as I'd imagine they're extremely unforgiving - I'm a size 10, so am slim, but I wouldn't ever consider white skinnies myself...I think they're strictly for the very slim toned people :D But if you have the figure, they can look lovely!
    Answer:
Personally I dont like them, I also think they'll be the kind of thing you'll wear once and then never again.
But, they could look good on the right person, Im not a massive fan of skinnies as it is so perhaps Im not the best one to be giving my opinion!
    x
    Answer:
On the right person i.e. bibbitybob then yes. I think you need to be a toned small size 12 or under though to pull them off.

    How embarrasing! (fashion related)
I've just been taking some pics for my Stylediary, in our shared bathroom (the only place with a full length mirror) and my (male) friend walked in while I was halfway through a pic...he gave me such a funny look! To make matters worse, I tried to hide the camera, and the flamin' flash went off behind my back, drawing even more attention to it. A girl would have understood, but how could I explain to a lad that I was taking pictures of my clothes to put on the Internet? He would have thought I was crazy! So now he just thinks I am very vain instead :o  Just thought I'd share my embarrassment!
    Answer:
    Oh no! :aperbag:
I'd just say you wanted to check what an outfit looked like from other people's point of view and say you would have asked him but you didn't realise he was in the house :D

I had a similar-ish conversation with Mr Shiny the other night. He is a bit naive when it comes to computers and t'internet and he asked what I was doing online.
I tried to explain the concept of Bagging to him but he didn't really get it.
"So, you've spent all evening writing message to people that you don't know and telling them about your clothes." He managed to make me feel like a friendless internet weirdo
    Berluddy men :p

    Frocktastic
1 Attachment(s) If you are so inclined, a little fantasy frock-shopping of a Thursday afternoon would be much appreciated.
I'm getting hitched this summer in what is quite uninspiringly called a Civil Partnership. It will be a dignified and hopefully touching little legal ceremony followed by a big party.
To take my mind off shilly-shallying around with dates/venues/registrars, I have been trying to fantasy frock-shop, without much success. I just don't know where to start.... so far I have made one foray to Vivienne Westwood, been blinded by the variety and run away again.
I'm ideally looking for a dress and jacket or skirt suit with jacket combination. My favourite colour is green and I would love a fabulous emerald green dress or top. Definitely not floor length or pouffy. I want something that makes me look amazing and unusual but like a grown up woman, not a fairy princess if that makes any sense.
I'm about 5ft 7, a size 10-12, curvy enough to look better in fitted than floaty, but not wildly so and more inclined to go leggy than low-cut.
At the moment I'm not sure how much I'm going to budget, but it's not going to be huge so the £1,500 Vivienne Westwood Gold Label corset dresses are out. I'm even considering looking for vintage or for a vintage pattern to be made up by a dressmaker, hence the need for inspiration....
These pics are Roland Mouret and VW Gold Label respectively - too expensive but fabulous. Any ideas? Even fantasy stuff you'd buy for yourself would be helpful if it comes with links I can explore....

    Answer:
The roland mouret one would be fantastic, v good from front and back. Take a picture and get a dress maker to copy it for you in the fabric you want. I did it with a dress i wanted once, it was a brilliant copy in the end.
Congrats btw, hpe you have a great day.
    Answer:
Maybe have a look at BCBG stuff ( www.bcbg.com ), I think they had some nice dresses. Also american dept stores websites like neiman marcus and nord strom are worth a look.
What do you think of something like this for example?
    Answer:
That dress is lovely, Loony! Loving the colour!!!
    Answer:
    How exciting!
Personally I love this Anna Sui dress from NAP and it's not too expensive either.
NAP have this Cacharel dress in green also
I know neither of them are emerald green, but they were too pretty not to post

Did you see how much slimmer they made Nicole Richie?!
    Answer:
    OMG that is incredible!
    Is it for real???
They look so 'normal' in the real images!..i.e.lumps/bumps/blemishes etc...
    Answer:
    I know!!!
Also nice to see that a lot of celebs don't have 'perfect' skin either! We are normal!
    Answer:

LOL! They've taken a complete vertical slice out of the photo haven't they?! Hair, body, sofa everything and then they've closed the gap!
