Bras

NO.1. Ask :
Bras
What is the problem with the people who make bras? I'm a 34E and I want nice bras except I dont want the terrible shapeless non lined kind. I asked in MS yesterday where they claim to have a good selection but all the ranges were the same. Balconette etc up to DD and then the unpadded lacey matronly types thereafter.
The assistant said "well I expect they think that you dont need any padding" Obviously I dont but tbh the padding adds very little to the size and imo makes for a better shape. The unpadded ones make my boobs look like round balls!
No wonder most people are wearing the wrong size.
Anyone else feel the same?
Answer:
Nope, instead bravissimo has all my money:o

Answer:
i know exactly what you mean, espec with ms bras. i dont want padding cos i'm a 36E but i'm like you, i think it gives a nicer shape. i swear by la senza
Answer:
I've gone off of MS (i'm 34E as well) everything they have is completely made of evil itchy lace, I don't want padding, just cotton, satin or something that isn't lace.
I've recently been buying from debenhams, they had a sale on,and a much wider selection of fabrics.

Answer:
I've gone back to wonderbra. M and S were way too scratchy. And the other thing is those non padded bras show everything, how embarassing especially in the cold!!!! :o

Does anyone have a pair of these?
My OH and I are gonna do a lot more walking this year and I want a pair of comfy, sturdy boots.
I already have Uggs and trainers so I wanted something different.
    Are they comfy?
    What clour should I get?
What do you wear with them?
    Thnks guys x
    Answer:
I've got two pairs. One pair are sooo old and are relegated only to wearing while working in the garden. The other pair I got two years ago in the Selfridges sale. They are both comfortable and slightly different styles, but they are not the tan ankle boot sort that seems to be the popular Timberland shoe. Both pairs took a bit of wearing in, as the leather and the style of shoe seems to be a bit rigid. But they are comfortable once you break them in.
Around the garden I wear really old clothes, so I guess you are not interested what I wear with those Timberlands but my other pair I just wear with jeans.
    Answer:
I have two pairs too! The old ones are my favourite they look so much nicer than the new ones. I wear them with my mooches/baggier jeans or combat type trousers.
Mine are the honey colour ones, I think theyre the nicest. Classic.
eta: just remembered I have a black pair too :o
    Answer:
I have the honey coloured ones too and I :throb: mine! They are so comfortable I would definitley reccommend you invest in a pair ;)
    Answer:
i have a pair of mahogany rockport boots that i have had for about 3 years and still look brand new, i wear them whenever i am gonna be doing something adventures like walking:rolleyes: they are comfortable

    Earnest Sewn non-stretch Hefners
Quick question, do they fit nicely in boots? Particularly the Maz Dark colour in non-stretch. I was going to get the Deccas but decided that they are not as versitile when wearing flats.
    Answer:
No-one ever replies to my posts- is it because no one loves me :( or because i ask really obscure questions?
    Answer:
    Anyone?
    Answer:
Hey sorry, I can't help cos I haven't got any but I didn't want you to feel like noone cared :p
    Answer:

I believe Elliecat has Hefners, not sure if stretch. You could PM her?
I do wear my Deccas with flats BTW, and the Maz colour is fabulous!

    day-time style
    Hi!
totally bored of my current 'day-time style', so wondering if anyone has any outfit suggestions? I'm a student, so the requirements are:
    *casual
    *warm
    *practical
I managed to drag myself out of the jeans and hoody rut at the start of the year, but I've seemed to have descended back into it
any suggestions? my budget is as cheap as possible :D
thanks. help me get out of this rut!!
    x ohara
    Answer:
I like dressing up jeans and simple heels/flats in the daytime with a fine knit cardigan cinched in at the waist with a ribbon belt. You can get a cardigan super cheap from Primark then just get a strip of ribbon from a haberdashery.
    Answer:
Glad someone posted this, I'm in a student-jeans-and-hoodie rut at the moment too! I have so many lovely clothes, but when I'm hungover with a 9am lecture I can never be bothered to think of an outfit! At the moment, I probably make an effort about 2 days a week, and look scruffy for the other 5 days  So you're not alone Ohara!
I love the ribbon-belt idea, will have to try that :)

yup, thats just it! but hoodys are so grim :o
Love the idea of using ribbon as a belt too!
The trouble is, I want to look nice without looking like I've taken too much effort - especially as quite franky, during the day I';m too lazy to put in a lot of effort!!:p
Think I need to get into the whole layering thing of lots of complementary colours - at best I seem to layer a tee with a white vest underneath  very interesting, ha!
    Answer:
Maybe you should invest in some 'statement hoodies', like ones with pop art and cartoons on them, so you can sling it on in the morning and look funky without any effort :)
