If you were me , which frame you would select ?
Hi, dear bags !
I have bought two pairs of glasses from Optical4less.com and I'm quite impressed with their product quality. Now I'm going to buy one more sunglasses from them . However, I couldn't make up my mind within these two frames, please help me !!
This is the first one I like, (I have tried to attach the photo , but it seems too big ....)

I do want the Translucent_Pink with light brown tinting , is this a good idea ?
The other one I would like is this, half alloy and half plastic seems quite cute :

I would like the Brown one, once again with light brown tinting.
Which one is better ? As I just consider to buy one only at this time .. please help !!
Answer:
I like the 2nd ones too, the brown ones :) It really depends on your face shape though!
Answer:
I've just bought new glasses so have got all excited by this thread :) I'm not sure how good the transparent pink would look with a tinted frame, but the second pair would look great.
I got a nice plain pair, and a tinted pair with a nice plastic frame - they look really good, not all like prescription sunnies.
Answer:
I think the brown ones too, but it really does depend on your face shape. Pity you can't try them on.
Answer:
Thank you !!
Thanks you bags !! It sounds that the half half material is more attractive , haha.
Any ideas of the tintings ? I would like to stick with light brown and when I was about to order, I found that in the shopping cart : normal tinting and Gradient tinting. These two tintings also have the option of light brown. Any bag could tell me what is Gradient tinting ?? Is it good ?
OT kinda- Is there a service that sells your ebay stuff for you?
NO.2. ask :
OT kinda- Is there a service that sells your ebay stuff for you?
Like in 40 year old virgin? :p
I have so much stuff I don't want, but I can't get round to listing, and wouldn't know how to make it a good listing anyway.
The other problem is that my digi cam won't work on my new laptop, it just says there is a problem installing this software (but in all fairness i've never use a digital cam before so may be doing something wrong.)
Any ideas?
Answer:
There is! But I forget what it's called.... maybe you can google it?
There are also some sellers who are like mentors or who will sell stuff for you - try ebay Help?
But do bear in mind all of them will take a cut of the winnings
Answer:
Would be a great idea if there is one! I'm lazy and cant be bothered to set up pay pal. :o :)
Answer:
We had a shop near us called Auction Post which basically would ebay your stuff for you and take a comission.......closed down after a few months though. They did seem to be affiliated with ebay as they used all the logos of ebay.
What about carbooting all your excess stuff?
Answer:
I don't know if we are allowed to name sellers? but auctioning4u is good. They will only take stuff they really think will sell and they take photos and write a description. IMO they used to be better - ie always giving measurements for shoes and livelier descriptions but they are still very good. They are based in London.
What to Wear - Christening
NO.3. ask :
What to Wear - Christening
I have absolutly no idea where to start ? Its a week on Sunday.
What do you wear to Christening in Feb - when its bloody freezing.
Don't really want to by a whole new outfit but obviously don't want to look crap !
Any ideas from you lovely fashionistas ???
:)
Answer:
There was a wee while ago, if that's any help.
g_k
Answer:
At my niece's christening last year I wore a trouser suit with a cami top underneath. It's a bit cold for that now so I'd probably wear a dress with a little cardi/shrug and then put a big, warm coat over it for the church (why are churches always freezing?) :)
Answer:
Thanks Geek_Kitten
As ever Miss Sofia comes to the rescue !!!
"Hi!
Since you are not keen in showing your legs and it is cold out there, here´s a suggestion:
* wide legged (yet fitted at waist) trousers in cream, pale blue, beige or pale pink worn with a thick fitted leather belt
* fitted tweedy/wooly slightly puffy long sleeve jacket slightly openned at the front and make sure is well fitted at the waist to balance out
* silky halterneck top underneath in a pastel colour or strappy corset like fitted top
* big pashmina in a dramatic colour to contrast with paleness of outfit
* cool heels in either brown or bronze
* delicate clutch
* soft accessories
Id go for something more springy in pale blue, pale pink, lilac, pale lemon, cream or beige

Birmingham Primark
NO.4. ask :
Birmingham Primark
Hi
can any of you fab ladies tell me how to get to the Birmingham Primark from New St Station. I've tried looking on their website but I just cant work it out.
Thanks
Answer:
You can do it one of two ways
1 - Take the escalators that lead from the station to the Palisades. Walk through the palisades and down the ramp by mac donalds. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp and walk a little and primark is on the left opposite pizza hut and the odeon cinema.
2. Walk out of new street station, walk past the taxi rank towards the bullring. Turn left and cut up by the side of the bullring. This will bring you out by zara. Turn left and you will be on New street, walk a little way and you will see primark on the right.
Answer:
Thanks Catwoman thats really helpful
I'm sure i'll be able to find it now
I know head to toe colour is flattering...
NO.5. ask :
I know head to toe colour is flattering...
but some people take it too far!
A girl on the bus was wearing a brown tshirt, mocha combats, brown boots, had dark hair and was tanned to the same colour as old brown boots. With freckles. That were brown.
The only colour were the chavvy blonde streaks in her chavvy over straightened waist length hair.
She will forever more be known as the brown girl on the bus.
Answer:
"Brown girl on the bus"
Does sound like she was taking it a bit far! She could have thrown in a nice camel or teal scarf!

Camel is too near brown.
She needed to give her skin a rest from the perma tan for a start.
Answer:
More colour, more colour!
 :)
