ioffer

NO.1. Ask :
ioffer
can someone explain this to me pls? i just stumbled across it, looking for an xmas gift...
is it as 'reliable' as ebay? i'm guessing the sellers are mostly based in the US by the looks of things?
do i have to 'join' to make an offer??
( :o excited that i've found a new shopping bargains site! :D )
Answer:
Bump
I have just signed up. Not entirely sure how it works at all. Its sooooooooooooo confusing!
Answer:
I have used iOffer and it was fine although I have heard some horror stories. You have to be quite careful about who you do business with.
Generally the price shown is the price you have to pay even though you are supposed to 'offer' a price it is rarely accepted.
You do have to sign up but you don't have to give a credit card or bank details (as far as I can remember)
Happy shopping
;)
Answer:
I use it a lot. You basically find something you like and make an offer. They usually have fixed prices though but usually make better deals with multiple purchases though. You sign up to join and pay the same ways as you do on ebay. Most of the ebay buyers buy from ioffer - if you look you will see that people buy up to ten of something at a time and the stuff usually comes from China.
The big difference on ioffer is that people are open about the fact that they are fakes. You can buy designer boxes, dustbags and even fake receipts. You notice that every now and then a seller disappears when the designer makes a complaint about the sale of mirror copies.
Answer:
Thanks for that Puddy-I was wondering about Ioffer too,I might venture over there,as an alternative to Ebay!

Yeah I have to say I saw loads of mary janes in Bluewater today! Had some really nice pairs, some in faith, some in schuh, even some in Marks and Spencers! They seemed to be everywhere, which is great because i love mary janes!
    Answer:
I saw some pretty Mary Janes in Jones Bootmaker (almost got a pair!) They have lots of colours too...
    I ended up buying:
*Loads of new make up (see beauty!)
*Teal coloured flats from Jones (can't find pic online but they are so sweet. They are like ballet flats, but they have teardrop shapes cut out at the toe.
*Navy blue boots from Office (again can't find pic online). They have two tones of blue, nice little chunky heels, 3/4 length with buckles up the side. Lush!
*Sleeveless slouchy grey jumper from DP, with a deep v neckline and a vest under it.
*A blue bag from Oasis for £10! It is massive and suede, with a draw string type top
    Success :yay:

  • Long grey/khaki cardi?

    NO.3. ask :
    Long grey/khaki cardi?
Anyone know where I can get a long (past bum length anyway, preferably midway between hips and knees) that either buttons or zips up - can't do waist ties, I look pregnant! - in either grey or khaki on the high street?
    LL*
    xx
    Answer:
I got a grey one in Topshop! It was more of a fine-knit jumper-dress-thing, but looked like a cardi, you have to pull it over your head then it buttons up from the waist. I can't explain it very well, but its the last pic in my Stylediary (looks nicer IRL than it does in that pic). Mind you, it was a month or so ago, so they might not have them in anymore. Sorry, thats not much help is it?! Hope you find something :)

any ideas what i can wear my waist belt with. its black from oasis fairly wide and has two thin straps across the middle but fulla t the back...it doesnt look right with anything i try!
    Answer:
A picture might help if you have one.
I tend to wear my waist belts with everything at the moment. I have a lovely tan one from oasis that I wear over a plain black long slightly puffed sleeved roll neck top with my jeans and a tan bag, Or over my black jumper dress and jeans.
Best thig is to try it out with different outfits.
    Answer:
    Is it this one?

I think it would look great with a polo neck and pencil skirt or trousers.
    Or a nice fitted shirt.
    Answer:
yeah it is that one but in black!! tried it with so much and just doesnt look right!!!
    Answer:
I really like them worn over jumper-dresses or longline jumpers/vest tops. I wore one over a short cami top for a night out recently too!
Also on the lookout for a black leather buckled one to wear over my black wool winter coat, but am finding it difficult to get one big enough to fit over the top, while still being small enough to cinch in the waist! Ah well.
