Stupid long length top question?!
Ok this sounds really stupid.. But I was just wondering if anyone else finds this and if there's any way to stop it.
When I wear long length vest tops they always ride up over by bum! Basically they don't stay long! Obviously when you bend down they ride up but this is just when I walk. Just wondering if there were any suggestions to stop this? :confused:

You could try wearing a belt on your hips over the top? Or maybe wearing a slightly shorter t-shirt/vest layered over the top?

Are these tops baggy ones or tight ones? Usually tops ride up like that because they are a tad too small, so try the next size up if they are ones that are meant to be tight.

Yeah I did think about wearing a belt Lisa! It's just annoying for when you don't want to wear one!
Hmmm they're the tight ones and I did get a size 6 so that might be why. Makes sense really. Not sure why I didn't think of it! The next size up didn't fit as well though.

The TS ones just don't fit propperly at the top on me, I have to wear something underneath.
I hear primark have some vests but I'm looking for T-shirt and long sleeve ones.

Howdy Irish Baggers!!
I am heading to Dublin Tuesday afternoon to do some shopping on Wednesday. I am going for a look more than a big spend.
The one thing I do want is a fab pair of jeans, would love a skinny pair (think my thighs might look too big but will give it a go) good quality, not too bothered about the price - I get great wear out of jeans.. :cowboy:
I am going to NYC in Jan so trying to hold off going mad, it is tough, anyway any tips on shopping in Dublin pass them on!!

It depends on how much you want to spend really... Diesel have some nice skinny jeans out at the moment, you'll get them in BT2 (among other places). Also Patty Anne's by Levis are nice.
If you're looking for something cheaper you could try Awear as they have some in at the moment too, the fit of them does nothing for me unfortunately!
You could always hold out for NY as jeans are a bit cheaper there. However I was in the States last week and the dollar is quite strong at the mo so things were working out cheaper, but not by a huge amount. I got a load of jeans in American Eagle Outfitters. One of their styles was just perfect for me so I got a few pairs, at only $40 each!! They are a skinny leg with a boot cut so they are actually better than any of my other skinny jeans under boots!
Anyway, sorry for rambling, let me know if you've any more questions about shopping in Dublin.

I dont mind how much I spend on a good fit in jeans I will be going to American Eagle in Jan but I really need a pair to get me through the next few weeks!
Levis and Diesel I will try - hope I am lucky and get something nice, I am a 'perfect size 13' :rolleyes: so it can be hard to get a good fit..

I know, it's a bit of a nightmare! You could also try Topshop's Baxter jeans. They are a skinny fit. Lots of people here have them but opinions on them seem to be a bit mixed ie. some people find they go baggy after a while.
One general tip I would give you is to get skinny jeans in a very "snug" (read "tight") fit, as they do tend to loosen out after a few hours, so you want them to still be fitted after walking around in them all day!
It's taken me ages to find the perfect pair, but it's worth it!
Oh, and ETA the ones I got in the States are a size 0. How cool is that! :lol:
