Personal stylist

NO.1. Ask :
Personal stylist
Can anyone recommend a stylist? I am in crisis and think only a Trinny Susannah style session can help me.
I have contacted one at Coathanger (also called Susanna) and there is a Style Clinic at Bluewater - although not sure if that is just a personal shopper, in which case not interested.
Help :(
Thanks,
Ax

Hi H.A
I've heard good things about the Bluewater one. I'm sure you don't need one as much as you say though, I remember you on here years ago being tres stylish! x

Thanks GATC!
I know about stuff, I'm just having a crisis of confidence when it comes to applying it to myself.:(
Am waiting to hear from the Bluewater one!
Answer:
I just had a quick google for Personal Stylist, London and loads came up but obviously it would be better if someone on here could rec. Good luck!;)
Answer:
Yeah that's what I thought cos it isn't cheap and so I don;t want to get ripped off and advised by someone who doesn't really know what they're doing.
I'd love to have Trinny Susannah but NOT on TV and NOT with that awful mirrored room  .
Do they do personal appointments, does anyone know? Or are they just TV/meedja stuff now?

    New sunnies all for me!
I bought new sunnies this morning, Brown Thomas in Dublin are having a 20% off sale today so I got them for €160. They are bigger than I'd normally go for but freakily enough really suit my face! Here's a pic....

    Cat - Kimono Top
Hiya, I know it's not the lovely Topshop one but I just tried this on in MS and it was actually quite nice, not the silk like the TS one, more of a jersey material but thought I'd show ya!
    Kimono
    Answer:
Cheers me dear! I had spotted that but i'm still pining after the lovely, drool worthy, satin, gorgeous, best dress on the planet topshop dress:boohoo:
Even more so that it seems the night out is back on again:rolleyes: Always the way eh?
Thanks for thinking of me though, i'm instantly attracted to kimono sleeves for some reason:uzzle: I'm sure someone is going to think i'm a bat soon:lol:
    Answer:
Maybe worth phoning around a few Topshops? Boring I know but you may get your treasure
I loved it from the front but that Mark's I went to has excellent mirrors from all angles and I just hated the back view. The back of the sleeves made my arms looked Huuge, I just didn't like the siloette (sp) it gave me at all :(
If they had those mirrors in half the dressing rooms though I reckon I wouldn't buy anything
    Answer:
    Hi Cat
Talking of kimono tops- I ordered one from La Redoute the other day- they just emailed me to say it's not available just yet
Do you know the one I mean? If you do a search for "scarf print top" it's the blue silk butterfly one with red trim. I used the discount thingy too (thanks).
Trying to convince myself I don't really like it- but I'm so peeved!
    What do you think?
Seeing it with jeans and my Office Vintage red patent/suede peeptoes.
    Answer:
Too true! HM changing rooms are good for that, well not so good when you actuallly get to see what other people see of your behind
I might try and get into town next week if i'm feeling especially good. Or ring around and sweet talk Mr CiC into picking it up should i find it :D

    Juicy Couture
Hi ive been wanting a Juicy Couture tracksuit (preferably baby pink or hot pink) for ages now, but cant afford £100+ for one due to just finishing my nursing and having a stack of debt!! Have searched websites such as Ebay, but none seem to be reliable or have proof that they are actually genuine. Does anyone know of anywhere i would be able to get one, or of some genuine sellers who are selling at a reasonable price? Cheers:wine:
    Answer:
Tbh I think it'd be best to just save up for one, I bought one off ebay a few weeks ago for £50, the seller said it was coming from the UK but needless to say their email was wingyangyip or such like (from HK), where most of the fakes come from. It arrived in plastic bagging.
Mine's baby pink with pockets at the back, haven't worn it yet because not been to the gym or do any sports at all!

But is your genuine or not Smoothie?
And why was plastic bagging odd?
    Answer:
I don't know, it just seemed fake- from hong kong to me is pretty suspect....do juicy couture do the pants with the pockets on the back?
The pink was like a murky pink too- not the nice baby pink on shopbop etc.
    Answer:
HK could be dodgy but then again a lot of the factories that produce for these companies are based there so...:meh:

As seen in Grazia this week... aren't they fab! :)
    Answer:
I saw them in my magazine earlier - they are really nice!! I love the colour!!
    Answer:
Cute. Where from? What are you gonna wear 'em with?
    Answer:
They are cool! Purple is a cool colour and very lush looking!
(they´ll go great with jeans, city shorts and pencil skirts!)
(o/t we get Grazia here too (recent thing! ;) ) but only on Thursdays....when do you get it over there? Monday?)
    Answer:
    They are from Next!!! :faint:
    £24.99, what a bargain.
I am wearing them right now with my new lovely dark skinny jeans and blue Stella HM ribbon tie top. I've also got a gorgeous dress from The West Village which has tiny purple flowers on which I reckon they will look great with. Plus a pencil or tulip skirt and some sheer hosiery for the 40's secretarial look... How versatile!
An unexpected and brilliant lunchtime purchase!
