Can a 44 year old woman wear a short skirt...
...without looking like Liz McDonald?
I'm short with a big bust and not much of a waist. In a long skirt I look like I should be on castors.
I bought some boots yesterday, black suede ruched ones with a good heel, and I want to wear them with a skirt and black opaque tights.
What kind of skirt would you put me in?

I'm sure this has been done before but the search function typically came up with zero.
How can I soften the denim in my jeans? They are skinny and keep digging into the backs of the knees causing those temporary scars.
They are the Stella M HM ones if that helps. Well, ok, they aren't *new* but I've only just managed to squeeze into them :yescales: :o

I may be imagining it but I'm sure you can get softener for your iron?! This would be a good way to soften the backs of the knees.

I usually just find that by wearing them they soften and mould to your shape - have you worn them many times?

Well, I'm wearing them around the house first because the zip is a bit feisty (doesn't always do up without a fight :lol: ).
It's Day 2 and the backs of my knees are hurting because I tend to cross my legs when I'm sat at my desk (it's a subconscious thing, I really can't help it).
I'd love to speed up the process :(
What's this iron softener thing? Is it like the opposite of starch spray?

I had trouble doing mine. I had to do a screen grab of it, put it into paint, trim the edges off and save it as a jpeg. I then opened a photobucket.com account (really quick and easy), uploaded it onto there, then put the link to that on my signature on the control panel.
