Post Tom Ford Gucci
What does everyone think of this seasons Gucci?
I've always ignored gucci when flicking through magazines because it was so hard edged and overtly sexy, which is so not me. But I am LOVING this seasons collection, especially the red floral mini dress - much softer and more feminine. It's definitely inspired me!
Answer:
I dont really like it. There are a few nice items; like the short green dress, but its just SO floral. It feels old fashioned, like walking through an Oxfam shop or something.
Has anyone seen this in theFCUK top in the flesh?

I could really do with a nice plain jumper that has a decent length to it. It ties to the side under the bust which seems to suit me too but i'd love if something could tell me what it's like IRL life before i part with my cash.
It's a lot more expensive than what i would usually pay but i'm prepared to if it's ok as it's the kind of jumper that you could wear every yeah :)
Cheers x
Answer:
hey cic, it is a bit different in real life, i got the black and the 'pink' but have just sent them both back:o
the pic gives the impression that the sleeves are long and the jumper bit is longer length but it's not, it's normal length and the sleeves are three quater.
i didn't think it was as flattering as you'd think it would be from the pic, but that might just be me?
i got a size xs and s to try but am thinking it would have looked more like the photo if i'd gone for a medium
at least the returns are free if you wanted to try it:)
Answer:
I think i'll leave it, thanks super.
I'm tall and really wanted a jumper that covered my hips:lol: Also wanted long sleeves too.
You've saved me the hassle of buying and returning it though :)
Answer:
that's what i was after too, it's a shame as it looks perfect in the pic - typical french connection it's usually either massively too big, or too small!
Bl**dy paypal!
NO.3. ask :
Bl**dy paypal!
Remember me posting about being scammed for a phone I was selling on ebay where the 'guy' paid me through paypal, then did a chargeback 1 day later so took the money back from my paypal account, obviously hoping id sent the phone by then (luckily I hadnt) which would have left me with nothing.
Well because he filed a chargeback, paypal had to investigate it. And because it turned out he was within his rights to file a chargeback (whether it was fraudulent or not) because he didnt get the item, paypal have charged me £24 as a fee for them investigating it!
So because my paypal account was empty, its showing as a negative balance, and as soon as money goes in they will take it.
Is there any way of disputing the fee? I didnt dispute the chargeback because I didnt post the phone because I knew it was a bloody scam thats why.
I just dont see why I should pay a fee when it was me that got scammed!
Catwoman, did you have to pay a fee aswell when you got scammed? :(
x
Answer:
This might be a stupid question - but how did you know he was a scammer? I want to know so I don't get caught out like this!
Answer:
Miss Dem, I had warning bells because,
1- he had 0 feedback,
2 - didnt contact me straight away after winning my auction,
3 - I had to contact him several hours later and he replied by saying he hadnt got the money to pay yet, but then at the end of that day he suddenly had the money and paid,
4 - by the way he wrote the emails he didnt sound english/british which of course doesnt make them automatically scammers but unfortunately alot of them seem to come from Nigeria, and ive had it before when ive sold phones, the 'will you post to my gf in Nigeria' story.
Also I said I would only post within the UK.
5 - after checking out his recent purchases he had used the buy it now option to buy several expensive electrical goods but had no feedback for any of this
Stupidly when he did pay I transferred some of the money into my bank account straight away, then I got worried and asked for advice on here, and as everyone said, what I should have done was refund it back to him and say I couldnt continue with the transaction.
:(
Answer:
Just bumping for evening baggers!
So, is there a way to dispute the fee that anyone knows of, or am I stuck with it? :(

Answer:
I don't know DA, I've never had that happen luckily. I've heard they are supposed to be quite helpful on the phone though so maybe give them a call?

You're in luck...I've just got home, seen my size 6 red La Redoute flats, and decided I don't really like them :) They're nice, but show a bit too much 'toe cleavage' for my liking  PM me if you still want them!
Answer:
Oh thank you!
I'll pm you a little later if that's ok, just cooking lunch :) Cheers sweetie :)

Pink Soda stockists
Hi Guys
I am wondering where stocks Pink Soda clothes, as I really want this dress (pic from asos who only have a 14 and 16)
Any suggestions where I can get one in a 10, tried ebay with no luck, TS in OC sell it and looked the other day but they only had a 12, anyone going there soon who could see if they have a 10 in stock yet?
Answer:
They used to sell it in Selfridges on Oxford Street next to the Top Shop concession - don't know if they still do.
