I need some new jeans - but I'm on a budget!
Hi fashion baggers!
I am desperate for some new jeans. My budget will stretch to about £50 max, but ideally I would like to spend less. I've tried Topshop, River Island, Gap; lots of different pairs but none have fit me right. Im quite short in the leg, probably about 31" :p So I always find that 30 is too short and 32 is too long, and then to make things harder I have very small hips:( Im a size 12 but find it so hard to find jeans... Any ideas, or am I doomed to be jeanless? :)
Answer:
I have 31 inch legs too with small hips and found a dark denim non-stretch pair from River Island that suit me very well. New Look are also good for similiar shapes but their jeans stretch like mad. HM have nice cords that I found fit really well...even though your looking for jeans...and not cords :o
Answer:
Have you tried Miss Selfridge? They have a petite range the jeans I have bought there have always fit really well. Also try Oasis, Next HM. :) Their jeans are all usually below £35 so they will be well within budget.

I allways hem my jeans or whatever trousers i buy. Because i am 5 ft 3 and everything seems too long.
So i just care how they fit in my legs and waist and then cut a large part in the bottom and hem them! :D

New Warehouse website
Has any else seen the new design of the Warehouse website? I suppose its ok and will just take a bit of getting used to. The zoom function so you can see whatever bit of the item in close up is quite good.
Answer:
The design hasn't changed at all when i go to visit it:confused:
Answer:
Yes I get a new one as well. Looks OK to me.....
ETA: actually, yes I much prefer it! Quicker and love the zoom thing!

The first thing I clicked on didn't work, which isn't a great start. The stuff on different style trends is quite good, although the text is a bit blurry (might just be my screen or my eyes though)

White George sundress
I'm watching GMTV (Lorraine's bit) and they're doing a bit on cheap clothing.
They just showed a lovely white 50s style knee length sundress with waist sash ...for £12. It's really nice! The skirt part is nice and full and swishy and I know loads of you would love it!!
Has anyone seen it instore yet or will it probably not appear for another 10 weeks?
Answer:
sounds lovely-I just switched on to have a look but missed it-I really want to wear lots of vintage style dresses this summer.
Answer:
Keep watching ...they've got viewers voting for the best outfit so they'll show it again within the next 20 mins!!

o/t: Does anyone like their passport photo??
I've got to renew my passport as it runs out in July and today, I got my photo's done for the 2nd time :o as I HATED the first set! I looked so pale in them! My Mum thinks I'm being dramatic, but I've got to put up with this photo for the next 10 years.
What really pisses me off with the stupid photo's is that you can't smile. I look like a bloody convict or something. And, it now costs £51 for a passport
Am I just being vain? Does anyone actually like their passport photo? I don't know of 1 person who likes their passport photo - but there must be someone out there who does!
Answer:
I love my passport photo because it was taken when I was a size 8 and everyone thinks I look like a little elf with big black eyes in it :o (my hair was really short then and I was really petite). I console myself with the knowledge that I wasn't very well then and that I'm much happier now, even if I am a bit more padded
I always use my passport photo scan on those hairstyle websites that let you see how you look with different colours and cuts!:)
Answer:
i don't mind mine. but then again they automatically make ours black and white which is soo much more flattering. i can't believe you aren't allowed to have a blackwhite pic on your driver's licence here
Answer:
I don't mind mine, I wasn't keen on it until I had to show it to the hot boy behind the till in Abercrombie Fitch to use my credit card and he said 'Mam, your a very pretty lady'. I nearly licked him!

The passport office are unbelievably funny about the photos now!
After being stuck with my awful awful passport photo for 10 years I was so excited about getting a new one last month. Unbelievably I actually looked good in the new photos I had done :yay:
But apparently there was too much of a shadow on my face (?!) so they sent them back to me. Which meant I ended up going all the way to the berluddy passport office and paying £74 for the express service where I had to have a THIRD set of photos taken in the carpy machine there and ended up looking like Charlize Theron in Monster

Hi Girls,
Just wondered if anybody knows where I can get basic plain coloured tshirts/tops that don't get loose with wear or shrink up as mine are doing.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

I'll second this; they wash well too.
Answer:
Hi Lacegirl,
I thought MS were good too but I've gotten some from them lately and they have gotten really loose which is annoying, so thinking of getting a smaller size. Or maybe i might try getting some longer length style tshirts, what you think?
