CH, there's a timberland outlet store in Cheshire Oaks (too far for you to travel tho I think) and I bought a "similar" pair last week for £70 - they're not as high up the leg and don't have the padding at the top....Was planning to wear them for tromping around with the kiddies!

Hey gals...I'm after some medium blue skinnies, to replace my 'tucking-into-boots' jeans which are falling apart - but can't find any! I only ever see skinny jeans in grey, black and indigo - and I've got all those colours :lol: I really really want some medium blue ones. A colour like these ones chelseaharvey posted in another thread would be perfect.
Anyone seen anything on their travels? Please?!

Try River Island as I've got a few pairs of skinny jeans from there in a normal medium blue - not all their jeans are covered in diamantes/glitter!! (Actually really like River Island jeans).

I can't find the thread, and I'm fuming- as I haven't had anything from them- apart from a dispatch e-mail on 22nd Feb!
And a cheeky letter today- stating
"Many thanks for your order as of 12th feb. Now that you have recieved your parcel, I hope everyting has lived up to your expectations"... HA! HA! :mad:
So was it really the 12th or wa that when they claimed to dispatch them??

I got a confirmation email on the 9th Feb - I don't think I actually got a dispatch email, but they turned up possibly 2 weeks ago (not sure exactly when, as they were sent to my mum's house).

I've been looking for a bag for months now and I just came across two bags that are just what I've been after from perfect size to perfect style but it's the usual dilemma of not knowing which one to go for! :rolleyes:
First bag - in brown.
Second bag - in off white.
Unfortunately the one I want in brown is out of stock until April but I'm willing to wait. I think they're both really lovely! What do you think and which one would you go for? Also, does Red Direct do promotional codes?

Ooh both nice, but personally I think I'd go for the off white as a Spring colour, especially as you'd have to wait for the brown then anyway, maybe order that at a later date?

i think they are both gorge. but i prefer the brown one. its a bit bigger (i keep tons of junk in my bags-mary poppins strikes again). the cream one probably would be better for spring but it depends on what you are wearing.

I landed a new job this week I'm more excited about shopping for a new wardrobe than I am about the job itself! :lol:
Due to the location of my current job I've worn nothing but jeans, thermals, warm jumpers comfy boots to work for the past 3 years which I'm sick to the back teeth of just sooooooo pleased to finally be able to make an effort with my working wardrobe.
I'm not entirely sure what the dress code actually is yet, but on my brief visit of the department I'll be working in, everyone seemed to be dressed smart casual.
I intend to add to my small selection of safe basics such as v neck jumpers, fine knit poloneck jumpers plain shirts, but I'm looking for some more interesting bits to add too.
I'm 32 knocking on 33 so want to appear well presented stylish rather than like a fashion victim, but still youngish with my finger on the pulse too!
Can you help me out with some suggestions?
