Arcardia online stores use 'reality' couriers.
If you have had the dispatch email you shall probably get them monday or tuesday.
It takes anything from 2 - 5 days.

DP Discount Codes
NO.2. ask :
DP Discount Codes
Hi All
Didn't want to continue this conversation on the discount thread, so I thought I'd post a new thread.
I've just checked and the 25% off discount code (originally posted by CiC) and the 15% off discount (posted by Princess Charming on pg 3 of the discount thread) don't work - don't know if this is going to be a temporary or permanent thing.
However, the 10% off and 15% off discount codes posted on the of the discount thread still work.
In addition, the latest codes: 10% off for a £55-75 spend and the 20% off for a £75+ spend (posted by Smartblonde on ) still work.
Hope this helps.
:)
Answer:
25% Link may not be working cause i think their 'Girls night in' advert is over riding it.
Fingers crossed it comes back eh!
Answer:
Yup!
Something like this happened before, didn't it?
Just thought that letting everyone know would minimise the inevitable questions in the discount thread.
;)
Answer:
;)
Think it shall have to be updated more often but i hate badgering elle to do it all the time:o
Answer:
Well, it's still a relatively newish thing - I'm sure it'll take a little while for people to get used to things.
One alternative, is that Elle locks the thread and we PM new codes to her.
:)
Lounge suit
NO.3. ask :
Lounge suit
I've been invited to a weddingy breakfast thing, and the dress code says "lounge suit". It's at a posh club place in the West End. What does lounge suit mean and what shall I wear?!
Answer:
not much help but my sort of lounge suite would be my pj's:lol:
Answer:
lounge suit means that the men should wear a jacket, and usually a tie - i.e. a day time outfit, rather than an evening dinner jacket. So, you can wear pretty much whatever wedding-type outfit you want, not a cocktail/ball dress though!
Answer:
From Wikipedia:
A formal or white tie dress code typically means Tail-coats for men and full-length evening dresses for women. Semi-formal has a much less precise definition but typically means an evening jacket and tie for men (known as black tie) and a dress for women. Lounge suit also known as Business casual typically means not wearing jeans or track suits, but wearing instead collared shirts, and more country trousers (not black, but more relaxed, including things such as corduroy). Casual typically just means clothing for the torso, legs and shoes.

In practice I would take it to mean that a man would have to wear a suit, but not dinner suit, black tie or more formal and that a woman would wear a dressy outfit, but not a full length ballgown.
Answer:
I used to work for a branch office of a UK company in Dublin. We were organising a launch party for the office and some silly bint from the UK office told us to write 'lounge suits' on the invites. Couldn't count the number of people who laughed and asked if we really wanted guests in tracksuits.........
Personally I'd read it just as meaning a regular suit, or smart trousers and 'blazer' combo.....
Clothes brush
NO.4. ask :
Clothes brush
Not strictly fashion, but I thought one of you may know where I can get a clothes brush from. I have a gorgeous black wool coat and have given up wearing it because it seems to pick all sorts of fluff and looks awful. I've tried the sellotape trick, but this didn't make much difference.
Anyone know where I can buy a clothes brush, preferably not online?
Answer:
From HM :)
Answer:
Thanks for that Miss Sweetcheeks, I'll have to pop into HM next week when I'm in town. I never realised they sold clothes brushes there!
Answer:
Yep Miss Sweetcheeks is right :) I think it's only £1.50 or some cheap price like that.
Answer:
I have a sticky roller from HM which is good but i go through the roll of sticky sheet so quickly:eek:
Black clothing and a dog with white fur doesn't mix well!
chloe paddington queries
NO.5. ask :
chloe paddington queries
I FINALLY BROUGHT A CHLOE PADDINGTON!!!! :yay:
i dont know if u guys will remember but i was asking for help with how to go about buying one from either ebay or lush. i finally decided to bite the bullet and 'trust' ebay and it arrived this morning. i'm soo chuffed its gorgeous and smells divine as well!
one thing though....do u guys use the padlock and key EVERYTIME you want to take something in or out of your bag? it just seems like a fiddly thing to do, esp when ur in a queue or something and people are watching you be very precious about unlocking the padlock, taking off the strappy parts, then unzipping the actual bag before finally taking out your purse!!!! also the padlock is quite heavy and im not exactly the most nimble fingered person! :p
i'm also a bit paranoid about getting it all mucky as its a creamy white colour and my bag is always full of junk/makeup which will undoubtably stain the leather or the canvas inside, is there anything i can do to 'stain-proof' the bag?
thanks
Answer:
*BUMP*
Answer:
I think most people just loop it round one half of the catch Cairo so it's there for decoration but not as a fastener :)
Answer:
Oh, lucky you...post a pic, I love them.
Do you mind me asking how much they are in the UK?
Answer:
I'm glad that you're so happy with your purchase. You lucky gal! :D
