Really not sure what to go for. My team's player of the year do is coming up. Invitation says lounge wear. Want to look nice (obviously!) but not over the top. Can't imagine I'll manage to look overdressed with footballers wives there but still!

Sorry, nothing helpful to add, but I have no idea what lounge wear is. To me It conjures up images of juicy tracksuits and pyjamas - things you wear to 'lounge' about. Even though I know that's not what they mean. :o
How about a simple cocktail/shift dress that could be dressed down slightly, maybe with black ballet pumps and simple jewellery?
Or black cigarette pants with a plain top and heels or flats?

Right seeing as my new job has a casual dress code :yay: :whoop: :yay: (can you tell I'm delighted about that :D) I am going to treat myself to some new denim.
What do you girls think about these?
I'm pretty well balanced top and bottom and wear mostly fitted tops so do we think the baggier style will look okay? Could I wear them with ballet flats?

Yeah the belt would be removed asap. I detest belts on anything, they irritate the hell out of me!
