tanktini?
Hi!
want to start swimming again, but my old tanktini seems to have suddenly shrunk somewhat :o altho in fairness it is several years old! and I'd feel a bit indecent wearing a bikini in public pools.
Has anyone seem any cheap tanktinis around online? tbh I just want a dead cheap one, in any plain colour - just as long as its suitable to swim in!!
Thanks ;)

Wrap Dress
NO.2. ask :
Wrap Dress
I really want a nice wrap dress to wear over jeans, but all the ones I've come across are black. I'd love something that has an interesting colour or print to it. Has anyone seen one on their travels?
Thanks!
Answer:

Le geek c'est chic??

Le geek c'est chic??
I need help with an outfit for a night themed 'Le Geek C'est Chic'.... I usually believe fancy dress isn't about looking hot, but this time I need to look hot!
I'd love some advice, as I was thinking huge glasses  , 70s style shorts, knee high white socks, maybe braces and a shirt .... What do you guys think?
xx
Answer:
If you want to look 'hot' go for the sexy scientist look:
- fitted white lab coat
- hair in a bun
- perfect makeup
- thick dark square glasses
- just lingerie underneath or if you're not that brave, a tight pencil skirt and fitted white shirt
- heels and stockings
;)
Answer:
I hadn't even thought of going down that route......i knew you guys would come up with something! ;)
I'm thinking glasses will be key in whatever look i wear... i tried getting some in wilkinsons - they have those cheap reading ones, but the ones i liked were so strong that i felt dizzy after a few seconds - would not be good with vodka too! :loopy:

You can get lense-less (sp?!) glasses - not sure where from though, sorry! :o
Maybe one of the other girls will know where you can get them from?

gold ballet pumps and ???

gold ballet pumps and ???
Just bought gold ballet pumps which look nice with jeans and skinnies but I want to wear them with my denim mini.
What do you suggest I wear tightswise?
Would black opaques look too harsh?
Answer:
Opaques would be a bit too much I think unless you wear brown - I wear black opaques with planinum and silver ballet pumps but they don't look right with black. How about some lace knit ones? That might look OK.

Hi Curls
Thanks for your reply
Do you mean your silver pumps don't look right with brown, but look ok with black?
I tried some brown lacy knit ones from NL with them but I was a little worried it looked too much, if you know what I mean?
Answer:
I think that they would look cool with some lacy tights as suggested or some patterned ones, I've seen quite a few of those about. How about footless tights also? :)

I don't think I could get away with footless tights, I'm on the wrong side of 30........however I did get asked if I was underage (by a 20 year old hottie) in a club on Saturday:yay: :yay: :yay:
I like the idea of patterned tights though thanks. I think they'll just take a bit of getting used to.
Contact lenses (sorry for O/T!)

Contact lenses (sorry for O/T!)
Hi baggers
I'm sure I read a thread about this a while back but can't find it now - so apologies for the slightly off-topic post!!
I am planning to order contact lenses online as they're so much cheaper than through opticians. I currently wear DA monthly disposables but am planning on upgrading to dailies.
Can anyone recommend a good, reliable website to order from, and a brand of dailies that they are happy with?
Any advice is much appreciated!!
Suga x :)
Answer:
I've had no problems with One day Acuvue- I get them from my opticians because of the excellent aftercare.....sorry not much help. ;)
Answer:
Hi Suga :)
I use focus dailes and had no probs with them at all and very comfy.
I buy them from here http://www.lensway.com/uk/ they are so much cheaper than buying from the opticians!! I have used them for years and although the're based in sweden i think, the delivery is usually a couple of days and i have been able to contact them on the phone if i've needed to.
