NO.1. Ask :
KATE MOSS Hotpants - they ok or not???
1 Attachment(s) Hey all, bought these Kate Moss Denim Hot Pants when they first were released but still haven't worn them becuase of the weather and have 1 more week on my recipt. WHat do you HONESTLY think about them? Who do you think can wear them?? xx
Answer:
I think they would look great if you had a flawless pair of pins
Answer:
ditto what Irisheyes said. I'd love to be able to wear those, not with my sausage like legs though
Answer:
What the others said. You have to have drop dead gorgeous legs to pull them off (not literally!). They are lovely, but you would need to be 100% honest with yourself, and/or completely comfortable with your body to do it I think.
Shoos, xx
Answer:
I think it's not just a case of having perfect legs, the fit of them has to be perfect too, I tried them on and they just weren't a good fit on me...

    NO.2. ask :
    Primark stampede!
ok so i don't know if i'm allowed to post this and if i'm not i'm appologising now!
but this is just too funny! was chatting with my friend who works at primark (we were discussing the premark/prymark thing) when she asked if i'd seen this clip
basically its taken by staff from the opening day of the oxford street primark, just watch the first 20s to see the two rather excited girls run in, stop and just start screaming in pure delight as if not knowing where to run to first, hysterical!
    had me in stitches!
    Answer:
Haha! Bloody hell, I love a bit of Primark but that looks like literally my worst nightmare. I get hideously stressed going into a moderatly busy Primark on a normal day, I often walk out muttering profanities under my breath.
    Answer:
OMG, that is horrendous. I don't understand why people felt the need to do that  Yes it's cheap, but is it worth getting caught up in that crush?? Madness.
    Answer:
I saw pictures of the opening in the one of the Sunday papers recently in an article about crazes in fashion and its horrified me so much that it really did make me think about not getting caught up in ridiculous hypes.
    Answer:
    lol Crazy!

    NO.3. ask :
    Top Shop/DP's
I seem to remember you could buy from Top Shop site and checkout thru DP's (or vice versa) so only paying for one P P charge. I've just tried now and the item from TS wasn't carried forward to DP site - Is this no longer available.
    Thanks.
PS Also the DP isn't working anyway everytime I checkout out i get "Generic Error please try later" anyone else had this?
    Answer:
I've been having the same probs on DP's site. Been trying to get a khaki skirt which has been on the website for more than a month (only just been paid so had to wait!) but just been getting 'generic error. They don't have it in any of the stores, rang one today and was told that it hasn't even hit the warehouses yet, it'll be another 12 weeks!!
    Answer:
I don't think it is able to be done since they re-vamped the websites. Its a shame as it was so much better when you could!

I do actually really like that, and am going to have to firmly sit on my credit card so that I can't whip it out and use it.
Thanks so much Tiny (though you know that by the end of the day, I will now inevitably have purchased something from that site!)

  • What are you saving for?

    NO.5. ask :
    What are you saving for?
I've pretty much put away most of my wages already and I havent even started working yet

I have just a few £'s under £500.00 in my bank left from money my Dad gave me for University. I want to get this back up to £500 and put it away in a seperate account for when I go back in September. I plan to put with this my £500 Scholarship that I will get too. So that's £1,000 extra to go back with in September... Hopefully I wont even need to go into it and can just keep it for my third year or after Uni, but I think thats wishful thinking. :cmdunno:

On top of this, I need to save about £500 as well for a Holiday with OH in September. :D Obviously I'm going to need a few 'essentials' ;) for this too, but I havent took those into account yet.

THEN I need to save for a dress for a Wedding I am going to in July, about £100.00 for dress, then I need shoes, accsessories, a wrap/cardigan etc so probably about another £60.00 ....

Finally I need my hair coloured for the above event, so another £60.00. (I need to find a cheap hairdresser! )

So I need to save about £720 (as the £1,000 Uni money is pretty much covered)  SPENDING DIET!! :faint:

Hopefully my parents wont be throwing me out anytime soon, I'm going to be breaking some news in the next few weeks which they have threatened to throw me out over before.... So if they do, then my savings are going to go to pan as I may need to be paying rent on my own accommodation over Summer till I go back to Uni.

    What are you saving for?
    Answer:
Can't help finding the fact that your parents might throw you out somewhat worrying Piglet
I am saving for a holiday next January..so a while off yet.
A weekend away with my Mum in August won't need a lot of cash for that as its only a few days
and thats about it really :) not too bad...!!
    Answer:
money's pretty tight atm so i'm saving to help pay off O/H's debt
also saving up to get my bathroom tiled and put in a shower
saving to treat myself to get my hair done properly
saving to pay to get my garden covering in pretty flowers, get a garden shed and put in a new fence
    Answer:
I'm not saving for anything :D I gave my mum a big rent cheque as soon as my loan came in, so that's all paid up until September, and I've got no other outgoings coming up. All my money at the moment is my own to spend on clothes etc (although that's not quite as good as it sounds, because my loan is basically all gone and I'm living off my wages ATM!)
Me and Mr GJ are hopefully going to Ireland in July for a mini-break, but I still have the money I got when I sold my car last year, so that will pay for it :D
As soon as September comes around, I have to start *serious* saving for me and Mr GJ hopefully going to New York next year :yay:
    Answer:
I'm putting spending money away for my holiday (see sig) and also for my flat but the saving for that will really start when I get back from my hols.
