Petite clothing at Debenhams
NO.2. ask :
Petite clothing at Debenhams
Just in case anyone didn't know, the Debenhams Collection do a petite range. I'm not going to pretend it's completely amazing or anything, but it really isn't half bad for basics and definitely worth a quick look. If you're in the Oxford Street branch, it's on the second floor. I got two wrap tops there last week (can you guess what colour?! ) and they were £15 each and fit perfectly! :)
Answer:

I saw this range online - what's the fit/sizing like compared to the other petite ranges?
Is it on the small side like Next or on the large side like DP?
:)
Answer:
Well obviously our bodies are all different, but personally I'd say it's more on the large side like Dorothy Perkins since I got the tops in a size 8, and definitely of a much nicer fabric than anything in Next. The sleeves on the wrap tops are three-quarter length. (I think some of the long-sleeved tops are still slightly too long for me but then again I do have very short arms). I didn't try on any skirts though.
Answer:
Ah! Okay, I'll have a look anyway.
Thanks for the heads up.
:D
Teal/blue galaxy style dress on topshop
NO.3. ask :
Teal/blue galaxy style dress on topshop
Well the topshop site has been updated and there's a teal jersey version of the galaxy dress.
Just thought i'd let baggers know, it's a bit different to the satin ones and more casual but could be dressed up too :)
Answer:
It's been on there for days now... sold out
Answer:
Sorry:o Just got an email to say the site had been updated and saw it while browsing:o
Shows how i don't study the topshop site closely anymore, shame on me:eek:
Answer:
CiC - I love the pin tuck blouses on there - but I can't buy anything else this side of christmas!
Back on the galaxy dress topic - there's one on asos.com for £35 at the moment too.
Answer:
There's nothing that really grabs me popoki. I shouldn't spend anything (and prob won't) but i know OH's mother is giving me 100 pound so i could always wack it on the credit card and pay it off later:o
I am strong though lately :D Makes a change
How Do I Do Casual?
NO.4. ask :
How Do I Do Casual?
I've decided that my casual outfits are too smart and make me look too grown up :(
Can somebody please help me in creating a more casual look?
I'm thinking along the lines of combat trousers / carpenter jeans / nice funky T-shirts and trainer/type shoes.....
I also like the idea of leggings under short skirts...but not too sure...
Any suggestions of where to buy would be welcome too (on-line preferably)
Thank you in advance style-gurus!:)
Answer:
Umm....
Mooch jeans/converse/nice little tight fitted tee
Combats/vest top/flip-flops
City shorts/ballet pumps/vest top/beads
That's all I can think of! :)
ETA - I like leggings under skirts too, if it's a denim skirt and you wear ballet pumps or other flat shoes with a covered-up top then I think it's a lovely casual look :D
Answer:
Bright printed tees - all the usual high street stores are full of them, jeans and ballet pumps. Ballet pumps can trendy up a casual outfit if you get them in a fun print, i.e zebra or leopard print :)
Answer:
I do the casual look alot thats how i feel comftable
I tend to wear my Mooche jeans, or bagey jeans, with either a vest top or a tight top (short sleeved) and my kswiss trainers
Or i wear combats

OMG really, zebra print, where from i love that print stuff
Should I get one to ebay?
NO.5. ask :
Should I get one to ebay?
There's a little cheap boutique next door to my office which is having a sale on at the moment - I got my sister loads for her birthday today! And while I was in there I noticed a galaxy style dress in quite thick red cotton (obviously made for Summer) with big white polka dot/spots all over it! It is fab!
Unfortunately its not in my size, but I was thinking of getting one to ebay... they're £17.99, would they make any profit?
Answer:
 Did you look on ebay already? I saw some nice red polka dot dresses on there (galaxy style) that I thought were lovely and they didn't seem to be doing that well.... however they might be now, if so then yes get it but I'd always check first, could you take it back if it didn't sell?
Answer:
Possibly possibly not - there are loads like it on ebay at the moment, you might make a couple of quid but its a bit hit or miss.
I just bought the green John Zak knot polka dot dress which is all over ebay like a rash, it looks lovely on, but it is cheap quality (v thin material, still at least it will be cool for summer:lol: )
Answer:
It sounds like you would make a profit, with polka dots being so big at the moment :D
I reckon you should get it, but keep the receipt. Put it on a 'Buy It Now' for whatever you want for it (or start the bidding at what you paid for it) - then if it doesn't sell for a good price within the week, return it to the shop! That way, you're not losing anything except maybe the 30p listing fee or whatever!
Answer:
What size is it?
