Short summer dress
Hi all
Well, the title kind of says it all. I am off to miami for the winter music conference in 2 weeks, and reckon i need a knockout dress for it. I have something short and in a bright colour in my head. Mimicat has pointed me in the direction of a Joseph dress. Has anyone seen anything else that might fit the bill? I figure anything I buy now will last me for the whole summer so my budget is probably up to £400 ish..

Ok i need your help guys!!
I have a job interview on Mon and i need some advice on what to wear. I was thinking ruched pencil skirt, Black T-shirt top,high heels and red belt? is this too much and not "smart" enough? its pretty high profile and an office position meeting new clients, id like to wear this but worried it wont send out the right impression?

I'm a firm believe in always wearing a suit for an interview regardless of the job. It's always better to be over-dressed than under-dressed in such circumstances. In an office for a client facing role I would have thought a suit was a given.

Has anyone seen any lilac cropped cardis or shrugs? I'm after one to wear to a wedding and have limited shopping time. I've just looked on the Monsoon website but they havent got any lilac ones. Can anyone help?

I have a lilac shrug/cardi - it was from matthew williamson @ debenhams. Very pretty and with sequins round the edge- would post pic but alas no camera.
You could try there just in case they have any left over... soz that wasn't much help

I got a lilac shrug with sequins round the edges from Dotty P's just before Christmas. Don't know if you can still get them in some places.

I think they're on the Next website, because I read about them on here a few weeks ago. I have no idea whether or not they're in the Next Directory though, sorry :(
I'm going to have to go back tonight to get another pair in a smaller size as nothing seems to be stopping them falling off my smaller foot! So I will have to buy 2 pairs in all :(

Some people find they can get into a size smaller. But I don't know if I'd recommend doing this before trying them.
You could always put them back on ebay if they're no good?

I tired on a pair of mooches today, they looked really good from the front, but then the back part is really weird!
why are the pockets so low?! do i have a weird bum or are they suppose to look like that? because its so tight at the bum (but baggy elsewhere) it hugs the section where my thigh meets my bum and makes it look like a fat roll almost!!!!!
its a shame because apart from the weird bum part, they looked really good!

I went down a size - they're fitted around the waist on me. I just bought the white ones, but I tried on some of the other washes and they fitted me the same.
