also i like the look of the lush hobo but could only find it in red. ?
what do you think?
Answer:
As a personal preference I like the look of the Lush Paddington, not so keen on the other two.
Although you'd have to ask someone like Serendipity about the bags' functionality because I've never seen any of these three IRL!
:)
Answer:
Several baggers have the first two and they're both roomy although I would say the second more than the first. However I have the first in cream and it fits loads in, it has a main compartment with an extra side part and a pocket inside, it's one of my favourite bags.
I don't like that last one very much, sorry.
Answer:
They're not really my style but I do rather like the first green one.
The Next on is a bit, well, 'Next' and I saw someone with the second one the other day and didn't really like it. I say the first!
Answer:
i suppose the only bit i liked about the next one was that the lock is silver and its smaller thank teh lush padlock!!
i know what you mean about next.
actually i wouldnt get the first one in green, i would go for black as even though i do like white, i wouldnt trust white with going up london everyday as it would get sooo dirty.
Going out tops
NO.2. ask :
Going out tops
I am really struggling to find tops that I like for going out at the moment. I really like strapless tops - tight or a line which I tend to wear with skinnies or pedal pushers and heels and contrasting socks, but I am finding it really hard to find them on the high street.
Has anyone got any reccies for nice boob tubes / bandeaus currently on sale online or in London?
Mimi x
Answer:
they had quite a few in river island this week.
Answer:
There's the Miss Selfridge one that I and Petit Cherie both have. Think it was only £22, it's on the WDYBTW thread.
Answer:
They're some nice slouchy ones in Warehouse at the mo, Mimi. Lots of colours as well.
Answer:
Oasis too, I'm not always a big fan of Oasis, sometimes it's great, sometimes a bit to frumpy but I think this season is really lovely. Only had a quick scoot around the other day but saw lots and lots of nice tops.
Mimi - if you fancy some unusual tops what about Laden Showroom Brick Lane? Think they have quite a good website too. Quite a few of Adele Laden's tops are really original.
Start in Rivington Street (Hoxton) have got some quirky bits in too at the mo.

Beware of French Sole
NO.4. ask :
Beware of French Sole
For those of you who are aware of the brand French Sole or are planning on buying on-line please beware!.
They do not refund or exchange sale items which is against distance selling regulations!.
They do not take responsibility for items lost in the post!
They do not take responsibilty for shoes damaged in the post, yet they sent the box in a jiffy bag!
Just thought I'd let you know to be careful.
I have sent two pairs back and they are refusing to refund or exchange them as they were in the sale.
I used their website size guide and it does not work.
Answer:
I know a lot of stores wont refund for sale items but it sucks they wont refund for damaged items. The only reason i wont buy shoes online is because i never trust size guides
Answer:
When it is an internet based company they have to adhere to distant selling regulations so it is against the law.
So disappointed:mad:
Answer:
How much money have you spent with them? Is it enough to make it worthwhile going to a Small Claims Court? Very often, just sending them a letter threatening legal action is enough to make them pay up. I've done it several times and it's worked every time so far and never made it anywhere near as far as a Court.

I second that. And the fee for submitting a claim to the SCC is £30ish, by the way, which you will get back if you win.
Where are you going on holiday and what will you be wearing?
NO.5. ask :
Where are you going on holiday and what will you be wearing?
I'm off on my holidays a week on Saturday for 3 weeks in Japan and I'm about the most excitied a person can be right now!!
I going to be doing lots of different things so lots of different outfits are required but I'm trying to stay stylish but comfy most of the time.
My main holiday items are:
cute-ish Camper walking shoes
Camper sandals (I'll be doing lots and lots of walking!)
birkenstocks
3/4 length denims
cute cropped cardis
flarey skirts
linen trousers
a multitude of vest tops and t-shirts
brown leather across the body bag
This is my second time going at this time of year and last time I took lots of warm jumpers and a wooly coat only to find it was gorgeous t-shirt weather everyday, so I'm not going to bother filling my suitcase with these things this time, but will take a couple for the evening and just in case.
Where are you going and what will you be doing and wearing whilst doing it!???
Answer:
Japan sounds great, I love those little lucky cats you get everywhere out there. Sorry, bit O/T!
Haven't got anything booked yet but planning on going to Ibiza in June and maybe tie it in with a holiday in Majorca. Then hoping to go away Christmas time for another beachy one - Hawaii or Thailand.
As for clothes it's too early to say as they are both a good while off!
Have a lovely time Dots!
Answer:
I'm going to Ibiza at the very start of July and again in September.
I've not gotten any further than BIG sunglasses and Havaianas so far :)
Have a great time in Japan *jealous smiley*
Answer:
We're buying a new flat so holiday plans have to go on the back burner - boo hoo :( (I want both, I'm so spoilt! :o)
Hoping to get away towards the end of summer; we'll need a break after spending months stripping wallpaper and painting everything
Answer:
We had to put holidays on the back burner last year, as we got married (and had a new kitchen done:rolleyes: ) we did manage Rome for a week on honeymoon, but we wanted to go to Japan then so this is kind of like a second honeymoon:lovegrin: I can't wait, I'm so excited!!
Cookie, you have reminded me that I need to find my sunglasses!
