Topshop wrap tie boots - opinions please!
Has anyone seen the topshop wrap tie boots in store? I was trying them on today (still trying to decide on my winter boot purchase) and they're surprisingly really nice on. I don't think they're everyone's cup of tea but I think they're pretty funky and unique. Here's a pic of them but they don't really look like this when they're tied. What do you think?
Answer:
Are these the just above ankle ones that come in red, black and grey?
Answer:
Attaching a pic might help!
Answer:
They are lush. My fave length as well.
Answer:
I love them, keep adding the grey suede ones to my basket:o

    Answer:

    NO.3. ask :
    What goes with cerise pink?
I've got a gorgeous skirt from Monsoom in Cerise pink, which I want to wear to a wedding later this year. It's got a layer of lace under it, and has cut out flower patterns and a few pink sequins around the bottom. I just don't know what colour to wear with it. I can't wear a pattern, due to the pattern on the skirt, and I've thought about black, white, cream and pale pink, but nothing seems to look right.
    Any suggestions?
    Answer:
I love green and pink together, but if its really bright you need confidence to wear it!
Other than that I would have thought white would look nice and fresh, or a black strappy vest (nothing to heavy) with strappy sandals, or even gold/silver?
Do you have a picture of the skirt?

you can't go wrong with black! just a casual black sweater would be good (as the skirt sounds dressy enough)! then jazz it up with simple accessories, beads, headbands etc!
    Answer:
I have a very pink skirt from monsoon and did um and ar over what to wear it with. Mine looks best with just a plainish white vest type top. Nothing too much of a statement.
    Answer:
I never wear pink as it doesnt suit me - but when I read this, I thought of a light grey/silver-y colour, for some reason! Would that go? Other than that, probably just a plain black or white vest :)

    Ugg boots
I ordered a pair of these from Great Universal (Buy now, pay never  ) They're Camel colour and almost come up to my knee, not quite knee high, not quite 3/4.
I haven't ever had a pair of these before, and I'm not sure about wearing my jeans tucked into them as whenever I try to, they all seem to bunch up at the knee, as the boots are quite tight, plus I have wide hips, so am not sure if the whole jeans into boots thing is a good idea, what do you think?
What else can I do with them?!
    Boots
    Answer:
I have wide hips and a huge arse, so I wondered if I could wear jeans tucked into Uggs. However, I do and I think it looks OK. The chunkiness of my boots balances out my hips, IYSWIM. I find that normal jeans bunch up over the top of the boots, so I wear skinny jeans with my Uggs which looks much better.
    Answer:
Looks Like I'll be ordering skinny jeans too then!
I always think of those as a bit of a waste though, as I'll never wear them with ballet slippers :meh: I see what you mean about the boots balancing the weight out though.
Would they look ok with skirts fo you think?
    Answer:
I think skinny jeans tucked into uggs will look fine with 'big hips' as you say :) My mum has had 4 children and says she has big hips, but when it snowed this weekend she tucked her jeans into her wellies (not the same thing, but bear with me) - and it looked really good! I think the chunkiness of the boots balances out any bum or hip area. If your jeans are wrinkling up above the boots, try putting your socks on over your jeans - so that when you pull the boots on over the top, it all goes on smoothly and doesnt bunch up, if that makes sense?
You could always just wear quite flared/ bootcut jeans over the top of the uggs if you wanted too :) Maybe even a very casual skirt and tights, but it would depend very much on the rest of the outfit.
Lovely boots by the way, I like them in the darker colour in the pic too!
    Answer:
I went to order them in the darker colour just now, but they're sold out - typical !!
What do you think of these I was thinking with a longish black skirt jumper?
    Nice wintery.
Can't work out if I like them or not though, might be one of those things you have to see them up close!
After your posts I will definately give the tucking in a go :D Should I wear a small or chunky top though?? I'm only little on the top see!

    Holiday clothes
Hi I'm going on holiday to Greece in June and am in deperate need of holiday clothes...I have none! Only prob is I'm really broke. Any ideas where I can get cheap but nice hol clothes? Ta x
    Answer:
Primark! Vest tops for £2, sunglasses for £2, sorted :D
If you dont have a Primark near you, then vest tops are only about £6 in Topshop anyway, buy some in different colours then just get some cheapie flip-flops in different colours from the high street (loads of shops will be doing them come May) :)
    Answer:
Primark is always up there - also New Look, MK One, Bay Trading - but Primark is definitely the cheapest for those holiday basics.
    Answer:
I agree with glitter junkie, tons of cheapie flipflops will be around soon.. should ahve got 'em in octoberish though, they're about a pound then!
Bibbity also had the idea of getting some shorts from the boy's section in hennies, where it's way cheaper than shorts in topshop or anywhere else.
I think hennies also sell vest tops at five pounds, thats a pound less than topshop, although primark is best.
And a bikini. Topshop may have some, although I'm not sure where else
    Answer:
Yep i agree with the others, Primark would be your best bet.
