Has anybody seen these shoes at Peacocks please?

I am desperately searching a pair of patent red synthetic heels and I saw a gorgeous pair in Peacocks for £12 the other day but they didn't have my size!
They also do them in black.
If anyone can please get them in an 8 I would of course cover costs and be oh so eternallly grateful, you know I would!

Well helllooooooooo there stranger ;) I haven't been to peacocks in a wee while so I haven't seen them but they sound really nice. Any chance of a pic of what they look like hun?

They're absolutely fabulous and a total bargain - tried squeezing my foot into a size 6 (should have thought of you!) much to OH's dismay!! They have a cigarette heel (about 3.5"), a pointy toe and they're bright, bright, traffic-stopping, lipstick red! Very classic shape to them, really.
I saw the almond toe patent heels in Next and wanted a synthetic pair for ages after and now I found them - in this heels of sex colour!
Might worm my way into OH's good books, get him to drive me out to the retail park and I'll get a pic there!

1. "Knee high" boots that never reach anywhere near my knees - why are they all so short?!
2. Hook-on earings (i.e. without a catch at the base of the 'hook' thingy) that fall off - I don't normally lose earrings but I've lost two in the last few weeks, and obviously they are from my 2 favourite pairs of earrings and I can't replace them!:mad:
3. T-shirts that get wider and shorter for each wash... hm...
4. People whose main hobby is shopping but who cannot seem to figure out that bRought is the past tense of to BRING, and that BOUGHT (past tense of to BUY) is the word they are looking for...
5. Peep toe shoes which expose my sticky-uppy big toes.. not a good look, right?
6. White trousers that are so cheaply made that the pocket linings show through...
7. All those beautiful tops I can't wear, cos manufacturers assume all women are buxom wenches and noone could possibly be as small as 34A! :mad:
8. Bra straps that are so far apart that they slip off the shoulders or are so long that they can't be shortened enough to stay up... Yes, MS Lingerie designers, I'm talking about YOU!

I must be completely weirdly proportioned - I find nearly all jeans go up to my navel, or near enough. It's hard to find some which aren't too high at the waist. Too short in the leg is a real problem though - what's it with the Gap who can't seem to produce anything that's long enough without it being several sizes too big? And Levi's apparently (according to the SA when I went there recently) don't do anything longer than 34", which is fine for me, but I'm not especially tall (only 5'6"). That knee high boot thing I don't get though - again, I'm not v tall and I can't find boots that are long enough so I end up with nice enough ones but a gap of 10cm between the top of the boot and my knees. Weird! :rolleyes:

Right, i am getting mightily annoyed now! I've wanted some black platform round toes for bloody ages now, and thought i'd found the perfect ones when TS did those faux snakeskin ones, but of course they never made it to any of the stores near me!:rolleyes: :mad: So i've been searching everywhere for another suitable pair, not just in black, as i fancy a different colour now too, but to no avail. And then of course, as soon as i see the Office ones, my best friend goes and buys the black ones before i can get there!!!!!!:mad: They also have them in mustard and purple, and i love the mustard for summer so thought i'd get them but of course they have sold out of my size!!!! :mad: :mad: :(
So, has anybody spotted any anywhere else. I getting desperate here and becoming a woman possessed!!!

I saw some gorge shoes in office in the Trafford Centre the other day (it was :throb: at first sight!!) I didnt get them because I am supposed to be saving (damn wedding!!) plus my boyfriend would murder me if I came home with not only a new pair of shoes, but some pink polka dot ones - dont think "but they will go with everything!" would have quite done it this time!
I felt a bit virtuous and well behaved in the trafford centre but obviously, as soon as I got home I couldnt stop thinking about them!
I had a schize day in work yesterday so decided that the shoes would be mine!! But they have all gone in my size!! :boohoo:
Finally I now get to the point of this thread :o I have ordered them from office mail order but they said they couldnt tell if they were in stock and all they did was ring all of the stores to see if they had any - has anyone had any experience of this with Office? what are the chances of me getting my new shoes? and how long does it normally take?

the title says it all really, I can never ever find trousers the right length, they're all too long, even short length ones. I'm 5ft3 so not really that short considering petite ranges are for 5ft3 and under I never actually buy petite trousers because I never like them and theres hardly a lot of choice :rolleyes: the other day I measured the inside leg of my jeans and it was 27" :eek: anyway do I have abnormally short legs? Is anyone else 5ft3? if so what length trousers do you need?

Im 5ft 3-4 and need normal length in topshop, gap, miss s and most shops with normal sizing, not zara though!
I think my inside leg is 31". Maybe i have an abnormally short torso!

I'm 5'6" and my inside leg length is about 28" (I have a freakily long torso). I find I can't often get the short lengths over my thighs and bum, so I buy standard length and take them up.
