I can identify with that!
I love wearing my new things and have been known to totter around doing the housework in 4" heels or other impractical items just cos I haven't been able to wear them 'properly' yet :o .
Answer:

    grey and lilac
    teal and brown
    brown and pink
    orange and brown
    red and purple
    Answer:
Here are a few off the top of my noddle:
    Turquoise/teal and purple
    Burnt orange and purple
    Pink and plum
Olive and burgundy or burnt orange
    Dusty rose and navy
Magenta and emerald green with navy
Chocolate brown with cream and pistachio (sounds good enough to eat!)
    Brown with duck egg blue
Grey and jade or emerald green
    Grey and fuschia pink
    Green with pinks or purples
Minty green and red (in sparing touches as accessories!)
    g_k
    Answer:
    I love red and mint!
Have just changed the buttons on an old black card to red and mint mismatched ones, and am looking for a red/mint stripey T to wear underneath.
I am loving brown and cream with dusky pinks and teal too.
Like the sound of grey and lilac dippy.
    Answer:
i like using say light pinks with darker pinks/reds.
I dont neccesarily use lots of different colour combinations just different shades!
    Answer:
I find that even if I'm using colours that 'shouldn't' really go together, as long as they're the same tone/shade then it brings it together. I think that's the key to making the 'unmatched' look work.
