How OT is this going to be?!! I was induced with my first baby (ruben) at 2 weeks overdue. Without going into too much detail you're given a drug to start your contractions (doesn't always work first time for everyone) then labour continues as it would've done normally.
I guess if you weren't induced the baby would turn up eventually of it's own volition but it might be MASSIVE by then and much harder to get out!!! :eek: :eek:

My landlord's wife gave birth 2 days ago and I saw the baby yesterday, she's so long!!! Weighed 9lbs too - ouch!

Dunno if this is allowed as I guess it sounds like I'm advertising but I just wanted to mention a fabby ebay seller, uvx500, that I got some Mooches from - they were £14.99, brand new and perfect. She sells Moto overstocks so has lots of stuff....anyway, they turned up and were too short so I emailed her and she's more than happy to exchange them....you don't v often get service like that on Ebay!

Since the 'what do you do in your spare time' thread, i have realised that i really should add some sort of hobby/energetic extra-curricular activity to my belt, to even out all the drinking and eating .......... SO, me and my friend are tonight trying Salsa!!!:o :p
Do any of you go/been before, and have any suggestions of what is appropriate attire?!!?

My friend does salsa and she tends to wear a loose knee length skirt (ie not a pencil skirt) and flat boots, just casual and easy to move in.
Have fun, my friend realy loves it and says it s a good workout for your bum!

Yep - I'm a salsa junkie! It depends where you're going I suppose but pretty much anything goes. I've seen girls look fantastic in jeans and a vest top, and others like to get more dressed up in swishy skirts and sparkly shoes.
Don't wear trainers or rubber soles whatever you do cos you can't spin in them! Wear shoes with a fairly slippy sole (shoes designed for dance have sort of suede on the soles but they're quite pricey). Remember you will get very hot and sweaty if you're really getting into it, so something nice and cool, or layers you can take off and wear a skirt or trousers that allow you to move comfortably (skirts with a split or not-too-tight jeans/trousers)

I always wear heels for dancing salsa - i find them easier than flat shoes (although i wear flat shoes for other kinds of dancing!)
And like Raina said, make sure your shoes don't stick too much to the floor and that you have layers on so you don't get too hot. Enjoy! :)
