short shorts!
I really want to buy a pair of black shorts to go out in, I've seen a couple of girls wearing them last night and they look really nice, anyone know where I can get them?

Pretty much most high street stores now I should imagine - saw a nice black pair in Dorothy Perkins the other day, not sure if they're on the website though. I know Warehouse sell them, and I'd think Top Shop would and Miss Selfridge.

I am going to a party tomorrow... the dress code is sort of clubbing style, iyswim.
I had a lovely outfit planned; beigey cami and brown skirt. Now I tried it on and I look hideous! :( The cami is quite bellybaring and slightly chest baring and the skirt is extremely leg baring, as in above midthigh,
I know it's too much.
I was thinking with black tights it may look better
Any suggestions on how to look less tarty without completely changing the outfit? (had my heart set on it) (without a pic?)

I guess if you don't want to change the outfit at all then tights are the way to go - although I would go with brown tights, if the skirt is brown (but that's just me... I don't like black and brown together..).
Could you put a cute cardigan over the cami, so its not quite so belly and chest baring... then once you've had a few drinks and lose your inhibitions, you can take it off :D
But tbh, you're always going to feel over-dressed in your house looking in the mirror. I always do. Once you get there, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Not at all - layering always looks good. Pink or white would work, they both go with brown :)

I think the layering of vest could work well. Especially if the underneath vest is longer than the cami and higher necked. You may even get away without wearing tights if the vest does cover up the top half more :)

hi the other day i was chatting to an SA in river island while i was trying on some shoes, but while i was doing so, i was commenting on how lovely her shoes were but she didnt get hers from RI, they were from an independant shop near to her which were bought ages ago.
they were blue pointed flat shoes with a strap on the foot (just for decoration) and the buckle on the strap was diamante. They looked lovely with jeans and i want some!
has anyone seen shoes like this?

They sound like some grey ones I saw in Next, your description sounds exactly like them but they weren't blue though, but I'll keep an eye out anyway.
