what would you wear with gauchos?
Just wondered, what do you wear with gauchos? What sort of tops, belts, flat shoes or heels would go best? And could you wear tights? Advice would be appreciated!

Last summer i just wore them mostly with vest tops and flip flops. I also teamed them with gold dancing heeled shoes, longline kate vests and a cropped jacket
This summer i'll wear them with layered vest tops, long necklaces and flip flops again - bit boring but it's so so cool in the hot weather.
A lot of people wear theirs with tights and round toed heels or flats for winter, obviouisly jumpers too or vest/cardi.
They are so so versatile, definately worth getting a pair of the reduced DP ones.

Ive ummed and ahhed for ages about getting one, but if theyre really heavy i'm not going to.
I have ended up with a clicky here shoulder from carrying a heavy here for so long, it aches after a day of here carrying WTF is that all about? So if its heavy heavy then that decides it.
Maybe I should get a little old lady type shopping trolley?

I found it is fairly heavy, but then again i am a weakling!:p i had to limit the amount of junk i put in it, but as soon as i did that it was fine!
i find as they are so big i fill it full- i removed a roll of selotape and a glue stick yesterday! :p
But they are so worth it tho!! :)

Ooooh they have these in H M. I only looked at them quickly.. but I'm pretty sure they're identical. I remember the 2 poppers. They had them in lots of colours too. I tried one on, it was nice but thin. Anyway I bought a gorgeous green coat instead! Hope that helps x

today i bought the most gorgeous pair of round toe, wooden wedge vagabond shoes, however ive just discovered they are synthetic, now if they had been a cheapo pair, i wouldnt have been to bothered, but since they were a bit more pricey im a little peeved about it.
when i was a child i was told by the doctor that i couldnt wear synthetic materials on my feet, due to very bad dermatitis which caused my feet to dry out and crack. now ive just checked the receipt and the shop has a exchange/credit note policy, but no money back policy, i feel a little cheated that i wasnt told about the policy. they also carry very few pairs of shoes that i could exchange for.
nowadays how big a difference is there between leather and synthetic leather, do u think there is any way i could return them and get my money back?

I have no idea about whether you could get your money back - maybe you could appeal to their better nature? However, I'd be mightily pissed off if I'd bought synthetic when I thought it was leather. I'm not too sure if synthetic has improved much over the last few years - Hack is your expert on that - but personally I don't think you can compare the two. Synthetic make your feet sweat, the shoes often rub, the material cracks and they don't age as well. Ugh! Horrible! :head: I hope you manage to get something sorted - maybe if you explained they might be able to help :)

Where did you get them from Pinkgooseberry? Online or a shop? You could always try explaining to them that you would expect leather for that price, and that the returns policy should have been pointed out to you at the time. Ask to see the manager if you need to :) It's worth a try!

i got them from a little boutique shop in falkirk, i was hoping that i could appeal to there better nature tomorrow, the appear pretty friendly and hopefully understanding. In sure the returns policy was probably on a poster somewhere, but i dont remember seeing it.
There were another pair of shoes i was interested in at the time but they didnt have my size so at the worst i could always ask them to order them in in my size.
Otherwise i might give ebay a go!
