Small Bargain
1 Attachment(s) Hi
Just wanted to show you the Converses I just bought at a sample sale at work (the first time I ever post something I bought on here!). They were only 20 Euro's (about 14 Pound I think?), and they will go nicely with jeans or wide-legged white lined trousers in summer.
I hope the pic I tried to post will be OK, as I have never done this before......
Answer:
I really like them! I don't usually like Converse's actually, but those ones are lovely, a bit funkier than the plain ones :)
Answer:
Ooh, very nice!
Answer:
They are nice - I like them :)
Answer:
They're so cute! :)

Brought a balck tank top on saturday!!!!!! But not sure what tops to really wear under it??
Wore it sat night and just had a long white sleved top under and it looked ok!!
Those that have them (if anyone) what tops do you put under yours??
Answer:
Is it a wool-type one? I think they look cute (in a preppy way!) with a crisp white shirt underneath :)
Answer:
I have a grey one and I wear it with white short sleeve t shirts or like rosali suggested, a proper shirt!
Would it look ok worn on its own in warmer months? With some jewellery to liven it up a bit?
Answer:
Another vote for crisp shirts.
I have several tank tops and love the smart look combined with casual thing, so often wear it with a crisp white long sleeve shirt, the dress it down with mooches and converse.
I also wear minne with my black and cream polo neck tops with slightly puffed sleeves
Answer:
This is how i wore mine on friday. With a white polo shrit underneath (DP only like £7) was just for uni with mooches. White shirts look great, just don't have one at my uni house.

I so WANT this outfit...
NO.4. ask :
I so WANT this outfit...
I love these jeans, any ideas where i could get some very similar. I'm stuck in abit of a rut jeans wise, its always either extra tight drainpipes, or loose mootch style jeans. So where can i get some straight leg jeans like in the pic?? (preferably high street)
I am so going to wear this outfit when the weather warms up abit, it's so simple yet looks so nice!
Answer:
I have two pairs of these they are absolutely fantastic, I live in them and hardly ever wear other jeans atm. They still retail at £180 in Harvey Nics so that's a great price.
Answer:
yes, that is a great look isn't it - something i try and aim for as well. i have a pair of slim fit straight leg jeans - NOT skinnies - from Topshop. i think they were called Duke's, hopefully they still do them. a white t-shirt like that you can get from anywhere from Primark upwards. i am still on the look out for a perfect fitted blazer so if you find one like that, tell me! i reckon Topshop, Mango and French Connection would be good candidates. happy shopping :)
Answer:
Oh god she look gorgeous.
I have no idea on the jeans but just wanted to confirm what a great look it is.
Answer:
Do you think she looks gorgeous then, Jorden? :p :D
So, I bought another dress...
NO.5. ask :
So, I bought another dress...
These things are like buses - couldn't find one for ages and now I've bought 3 in a week!
What do you think of this one? I'm planning to wear it as you see with a yellow cardi, brown shoes and jewellery (probs not the necklace in the picture, something a bit more delicate I think). Does it make me look too hippy/pear shaped, or does it look quite balanced? Is the yellow ok, or too much? What would you wear with it?
Unfortunately I didn't notice that the zip was broken until I got it home:rolleyes:
Opinions are appreciated:)
Answer:
Oh I love it! definitely wear it with the yellow, it's great. Where is it from dots?
OT but I wondered what you thought of the dress I posted for my birthday - as someone whose style I greatly admire. Loving the updated style diary too, looking fantastic - have you lost weight?
Answer:
Dots, that's a lovely dress!
You've put it with great colours too, a waist belt would look wicked with that, maybe tan...
Very pretty.
Answer:
Arietty, I thought a waist belt would look nice too but unfortunately I can't do the tan!
Nazneen:o what a lovely compliment and I'll go and have a look at your dress just now:) I've been on a diet since January and have lost 20lbs since then (although I fear some of it may be back on after this weekend:o ) which I'm pretty chuffed about. I don't seem to be dropping dress sizes very quickly though, hopefully I will soon.
The dress is from New Look for £35 - bargain! The pattern is actually cut out, not sure if that comes across in the picture, like a large broiderie anglaise (sp).
Answer:
ah I thought it was - it caught my eye but was far too long for me. I really want a red dress for summer though - so if you see any that are knee length around let me know!
ETA: congrats on the weight loss - that's really quick!
