Gap discount voucher?
I know this should probably be in the discounts thread, but I wanted it to be read asap!! :) Have just received a 30% off Gap voucher from a friend and just wanted to know if anyone else had seen these around/got one? Don't want to plan a purchase only for me to get there and them say it's not valid. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be, but I'd sooner check before I went off shopping! Could always ring them I suppose, but I thought I'd make here my first port of call! Thanks! :cool:

Yup, I had this and went mad yesterday. Bought dark denim gauchos and a pea green mac/trench.... perfect fit for both and v pleased with 30% off!

Thanks girls. I rang Gap to make sure, and the SA said it's only certain companies that got these vouchers, and if you work for one of these companies, you have to take ID.
I got my dark denim gauchos for £39.50 last week, but was thinking of buying another pair with the 30% off and returning the first pair! Cheeky, but why not?!?

nope, didn't have to show ID at all... in fact, the cashier (there were SO many gals with the voucher) just glanced at mine, i just held it up.... he barely looked at it.. and i noticed it was the same with other cashiers.
erm, it wasn't my company, i can tell you that!!!

i just got a chloe bag really cheap - think its called the cabas, it has zipped pockets on the outside, a little luggage label and its tan - but its damaged.
I only paid £40 and i know its real, but my mum just did the sharp-intake of breath when she saw it, so i'm hoping baggers can make me feel better!
The sharp intake of breath was due to the damage - one of the handles has been snipped with a pair of scissors clean through. I thought that maybe it might be possible to get a leather repair shop/cobblers to fix it together or even ask Chloe if they'd fix it? does anyone know if Chloe do repairs like that?

I doubt Chloe would fix it - as far as I know only Gucci will fix your bags for you.
A cobbler could sew it together, but it's going to look obvious. I don't know quite which bag you have and whether the entire strap is maybe replaceable?

Have you got a link to the eBay pic? I'm sure it's repairable but it will by no means be an invisible seam. £40 for a real Chloe is an astonishing bargain.

More ebay problems, quel surprise!
If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it because it's driving me nuts.
Basically I signed into my ebay account the other day and an unpaid item reminder popped up on my screen.
I wasn't even aware I'd won the item (some St Tropez), and I hasn't even received an unpaid item dispute opened email, so this "reminder" made me a bit :confused: The item was won a month ago.
So I emailed the seller and apologised, saying I hadn't received any emails from ebay about it, and we arranged I'd pay today.
HOWEVER, I can't find the "PAY NOW" button anywhere :mad:
I't's not in the drop down box or on the actual auction page (on the auction page it just says the seller sent me an invoice, and on what date)
So how am I meant to pay? I don't want to paypal her out of ebay, because I won't be covered, will I?
If anybody can point me in the right direction asap I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

Can't get a screenshot, because a) I don't know how and b) I'm on the college computer.
But basically I click on "WON"click on said item's descriptionthen it says "The seller sent you an invoice on 19-Feb-06 specifying the total payment amount." and the tab underneath is "MARK AS PAYMENT SENT"
(As oppose to pay now)
So I go back to the "items I've won page" and go to said item, click on the drop down box and it's not there either!?
Don't know what to do as really wanted to get this paid for today and I promised the seller so she'll be peed off with me now!
