Hey Girlies, After being single for a while a friend from work has asked me out on a date to the cinema! I'm really looking forward to it but panicing what to wear! Trousers? Plain dress? White combats? Just want to make a good first impression :) Heeelp pleeasee :eek:

ive only been out this evening wearing black opaques with shorts but i was told it was quite warm durin the day and will be the same all week..............depends on how consistent the weather is....if its not too hot then yeh go for it....i still love wearing my opaques with as much as possible (id rather have cooler weather and wear opaques than have to get the old legs out wen its rly hot:cmdunno: :lol: )

ummm I dunno?it has been super hot today so if the weather was anything like this i probably wouldn't. having said that though when the weather got worse again a few weeks ago i wore opaques for a night out!i think i'd feel a bit silly in this hot weather though?

Yes, but then I'm, y'know, odd. I wouldn't wear them if it's really hot, but I certainly carry on wearing opaques of all colours throughout the summer.

I dont think its so much the weather thats the problem, its the fact its still light when we go out I think! its definitely stil cool enough for opaques when it goes dark, I just feel a bit stupid wearing them out in the evenngs when its light!
Can you swap for leggings instead? Thats what I've been doing

I sat by a stream near work for lunch today, the sun was shining and I was listening to the Stone Roses' first album, in a good mood, and a magpie proceeded to sit on the fence next to me. Suddenly my stomach sank and of course I had to salute it, but even then a slight sense of impending doom took over, and when I nearly lost my bookmark I thought it might have been the bad luck that was averted. Then I thought how ridiculous it was, given that I am generally a fairly rational person. But I really do still believe that one magpie equals bad luck, two good etc! :loopy: Once I was crossing the front quad at college, the Warden and various dons have rooms that look out across it, and I saw a magpie and I had to pretend I was getting something out of my hair to surreptitiously salute it :o even then I wondered if I still would have bad luck that day as it wasn't a proper full salute :o
My mum also has the same superstition, nothing brings out the cringing, embarrassed Kevin-like teenagers in my brother and sister than the two of us saluting away in their company, in public :D

If it's an even number of covers joined, it's good luck to stand on. If it's an odd number it's bad luck. I'll quite often be seen randomly jumping in the street to avoid odd ones, and on my walk to uni I swerve around them without thinking. People must think I look like a mental! :lol:
I also can't "split the pole". If I'm walking with someone I have to walk on the same side of any poles as they do.
Magpies are not that big a one of mine, however I once had one hit the windscreen of my car. Made me worry about bad luck for weeks! I'm sure hitting one is worse than just seeing it :cmeek:

well my mum had a robin come to her and laid on her hand or something a month or so ago, and that evening she won £1000 on the lottery! woo :p

also i use to have a stepmum who did black magic 4 a living and she didnt get on with us and hated me lol, and one time all of a sudden out from a nowhere was a black huge spider or moth or something like hughmongus!!! on my shoulder or head or somewher then it jsut disappeared nowher to be seen!!
also we came bk home once form a wkend away and the mirror was broken! so strange.
also im one who doesnt like to walk on 3drains in a row as i think it maybe bad luck but i dont mind too much if i do.
however i just remembered, u may think im so weird!!! but.... i believe that some earrings are lucky and others are not! whenever i wear a certain pair of earrings i have luck or have good days, great times with bf everyone etc, and when i wear different earrings like say a white pair or ones i have but hardly wear, they always seem to be so unlucky!!! like id have an argument with someone or have a bad day like lose money, lose stuff, get fined, etc etc. so what i do is well when i go out i like my earrings to match what im wearing so id wear say a green pair of earrings, however- id keep a good luck pair of earrings in my bag, incase later in the day i get really bad luck, so then id swap them hehe, see im so weird, but its true its my earrings that give me luck!!! thats y i sometimes wear earrings in bed coz i feel lucky, like id get nice tx msgs and my bf would b nice, sex would b great, lol wheras if i dont wear them, i feel unlucky. omg my earrings are my lucky charm lol

They are all seriously fan-bloody-tastic pics, but I would go with no.2 or no.3 because they're both such striking images. In no.1 you can't really see your face very clearly.
If really pushed, I would go with 3, just 'cos I like the composition - you looking straight ahead, the lions looking one to either side...
