Gorgeous jewellery decision
As always just lately i can't decide what to get:rolleyes: :p
There's so much i want off this site but i've narrowed it down to neutral stuff to go with everything (although i might get some more 'coloured' stuff in the future).
So what do you think girls?

Answer:
Oh they're all gorgeous! I've voted 4, but I love them all :)
Answer:
I like number 1 the best but theyre all nice :)
Answer:
I can't choose!
I'm drawn to no 1 and no. 3
Answer:
It's so feckin hard isn't it?
I was originally drawn to number 4 as it was neutral and would go with everything....but then i do like gold too - it's just my engagement and eternity ring are platinum:cmdunno: and i dunno if it would go?
My New Shoes
NO.2. ask :
My New Shoes
 Am so chuffed!
Just received my new shoes from La Redoute (I think I should just set up a standing order to them for 1/5 of my salary as I am ALWAYS getting stuff from them!)
Two pairs of green shoes which is totally new for me and I was expecting to not like so much IRL. But I love them :)
Particularly pleased with "loafer" style flats as unusual but comfy and good for trews skirts.
Now have to buy coordinating tops :p
Answer:
and the other pair...
These are not really done justice by photo. The shiny bit is sort of metallic and the rest is suede.
Plus due to sale I paid in total a bit under £30 for the two pairs :yay:
Answer:
They are lovely Paris Gal!
I've never ordered from La Redoute, but stupid question: they don't have all their stock in the shop at Châtelet do they?:o
Answer:
I LOVE the colour of both of them!

I don't know. The only real LR shop that I have been to is at Place d'Italie which is tiny and never has anything remotely nice. Don't know how big the Chatelet store is.
Where do you live? Wasn't expecting to see any other Paris dwellers on here!
Need a bag to go with these shoes
NO.3. ask :
Need a bag to go with these shoes
Hello!
I bought these shoes at the weekend to wear to a wedding in a couple of weeks.

I need a bag to go with them - preferably a cutch bag. You can't see the colour properly in the pic but they are a light bronze with a bit of a green tinge. Has anyone seen anything that might go? I couldn't find anything yesterday but am going to bluewater next week so am hoping i will have more luck there.
Thanks!
x
Answer:
What colour is your outfit? I can't see the bronze in the shoes, so
I would opt for a bronze or gold clutch bag.
Answer:
Hard to descride the colour really... they are metalic but kind of bronzey/greeny. All the bronze bags i have seen are too dark.
can't find a pic of my dress online but it's green (sort of a pale sea green). The shoes go perfectly but i think if i got a bag that's too bronze it'll look odd against the delicate green of the dress
Answer:
The pale sea green sounds gorgeous, you may have to opt for a brown or sea green bag.
Answer:
I'm not sure i'd try to match the colour of the bag and shoes... having two different shades of bronze might look odd unless you are lucky enough to find a perfect match.
How about a green bag - in a shade that goes well with the green of the dress?
Selling designer clothes - recommend a site/shop
NO.4. ask :
Selling designer clothes - recommend a site/shop
Hi,
I'm considering buying what is (for me) an expensive designer dress for a special occasion with a view to selling it afterwards.
It would be a very well known designer name evening gown in a common size so I don't think it would be difficult to do, but I'd be wary of using Ebay for a high cost item. I've never bought or sold on Ebay so have no record or experience of it.
Has anyone ever used a specialist site for this, or got a good price by selling to a Dress Exchange type shop?
Recommendations and advice from anyone who's done this would be gratefully appreciated.
cheers
OJ

Can no one help? At all?
Answer:
I know of second-hand designer shops in London but that isn't much help to you. What I do know is that you won't get much money. I think the scenario is that you get 50% of the sale price and they don't charge anywhere near the original purchase price. I suspect you only get back something like 1/4 of your original price. Ebay would likely be more profitable because at least you can set a reserve. There is a shop near me which is basically an Ebay-selling agency - I think they are called flogit4U or something 'catchy' like that. Again, based in London but since they are just an agent I see no reason why you couldn't e-mail them pics and descriptions etc and they handle the selling for you.
Have you thought about hiring a dress ? I think Bodie Gibbs is somewhere that hires out designer dresses. That has just popped into my head so must have read that somewhere......
Answer:
There's a shop in Spitalfields called Frockbrokers, guess they do this sort of thing if anyone knows any more about them?
Answer:
I don't know of any designer re-sale shops, but I think Elliecat's right about selling on ebay, especially if you're thinking of THAT VW dress - those always go for a fortune!! ;)

Help Please
Hey
I know I haven't been around much recently, so first off, hi girls :D
This Friday I have, yes you guessed it, a date :D
Ooh, I am so excited, haven't had one in aaaaaages
Anyway, I got some lovely pink satin shoes the week before last and wore them to a party, but was quite disappointed with how easily they get dirty. I'd love to weasr them on Friday, but I want to clean them first. Any suggestions on how?
And, what do you think I should wear?
Answer:
For the shoes, you could try dabbing them with a little cold water and rubbing the dirty bits with a vanish stain bar. I find this gets marks out of everything.
As for the outfit, do you know where the lucky guy is taking you? :)
Answer:
OK thanks for the shoes advice, will try it out tonight
Yep about the second, he's taking me to a semi-posh restaurant. I'm so excited, haven't been on a 'proper' date for ages, I think I will act all wrong infact :o Steel my nerves, girls
Answer:
Ooooh how exciting! Good luck with the date :D I'll go away and have a think about outfits...
Answer:
thankyou :D
