Topshop wide elastic waist belt
Hi guys
I bought a wide elastic belt in black from TS yesterday (the one with 4 hook and eye things up the front) and was wondering if anyone else has one and what they wear it with?
I tried it on over my black polo neck top and quite liked it, but can't find any inspiration for other outfits.
Do you reckon I could wear it with a shirt? Tried it with a long Top and skinnies but it made my sholders look wide.
Any suggestion appreciated

I think they're quite funky but could never get one as they remind me of the 'purse belt' that was part of our school uniform! :lol:

I've just got one of these too. Wore it with a fitted black dress on Friday to give me a bit more shape. Could do with some more ideas myself so will keep an eye on this thread...

I am a size 12, 5ft6 and I don't really think I'm fat or over weight, though I am dieting and plan to get to a size 10 before the summer, but since having my little boy, I have a bit of a jelly belly, plus a few stretch marks... I'm doing my best to tone up though but I know that won't make the stretch marks dissapear.
I have seen a couple of swimming costumes that are really nice and would probably flatter me, but I'd also like to get a couple of bikini's, even if I just wear a kaftan over them.
But I don't know if I should!! I would look so awful next to the skinny minny's, and I don't know where to find a bikini that isn't stringy or really revealing.

i think that you should wear what you feel comfortable and confident in. i dont see any reason why you wouldnt look good in a bikini, im not a skinny minny and i usually wear bikinis-hopefully look good too.
maybe you should go for a tankini, a little less revealing, yo might feel more comfortable in them...

I actually really like the high neck and I only think of them as shift dresses when they have the high neck. I wanted it to possibly wear for work, which I think the Warehouse ones are a bit too casual for.
I do like the polka dots ones, but I'm fearing overkill. Maybe its just that the shops don't stock shift dresses that match my strict requirements.

Completely depends on the jeans/shoe. I have a pair of black round toe flats which look great with one pair of jeans and awful with the other.
