Slightly o/t - fashion disaster!
I went for a meal last night with a few friends. We were sitting at a table in front of a huge fireplace that had been converted into a wine rack. There was a really loud 30th in the restaurant so the owner turned the music up. It was really loud as there was a speaker in the fireplace too. The vibrations shook two bottles of red out and they smashed off the floor soaking my coat and here in red wine! Luckily I was in the bathroom at the time so I didn't get soaked too. That would have been REALLY embarrasing!!
Answer:
I hope you're billing the Restaurant for a new coat and bag!

Answer:
The bag and coat were both black so all is ok :)
Answer:
sounds like a right nightmare, u sure you dont need to get them drycleaned though - the restaurant should really be responsible for that x

what a waste of wine!!!
O/T Ebay - just started selling stuff on Ebay
NO.2. ask :
O/T Ebay - just started selling stuff on Ebay
I've just listed two things on Ebay, have never listed things before. My question is, is it really that beneficial to have a paypal account due to the charges imposed when you receive a payment? i'm not accepting Paypal at the moment on my listed items but would it increase the chances of my stuff selling a lot more? I also want to sell quite a few more things on Ebay in the next few days...
Thanks.
Answer:
I can't say as a seller, but from a buyer's point of view I'd definitely prefer to buy from a seller who offered PayPal as an option as it's safer and more convenient.
Answer:
The 'personal' account is free but you have to upgrade to a 'premier' account in order to recieve bank-funded payments - (which if course is how 90% of buyers pay) and thats when the fees start. I *think* that's right.
Paypal fees are very annoying, but I'd rather pay them than have to traipse to the bank and queue to cash cheques every time I sold something! I'd rather pay the bit extra and have the convenience.
Answer:
if there were too sellers selling the same thing, i would go with the one offering paypal everytime. its much easier for the purchaser, and offers protection on larger items
i would seriously consider getting an account, you will find it much easier for you too, as you get instant money and no messing around
Answer:
thanks everyone - i've created a PayPal account and edited my listings so i accept PayPal....
lets just hope my stuff sells now :)
Bra for bandeau tops
NO.3. ask :
Bra for bandeau tops
Does anybody know where I can get a non-underwired bra to go under bandeau tops?
I don't want padding or fiddly bits, just a straightforward bandeau bra. I know figleaves do one but I think it is really thick and might peep out from under my tops.
Thanks!

Answer:
Hello,
Are you in Spain?? I have one I got from El Corte Ingles by Unno I think - very very simple and super soft - dirt cheap too.
I also have a brilliant Bodas one which is underwired, but not padded. It's a very fine fabric and is basically invisible even under thin CC style vests.

Answer:
Thanks Mimicat. I'll have a look at unno. I did have a quick look in the CI on Saturday but I could only see strapless wonderbras and that kind of thing - the opposite of what I want.
I should have said that I don't need any kind of support so underwiring is probably a good idea for "definition".
Thanks!

Zara calf length dress?
NO.5. ask :
Zara calf length dress?
Tried on a gorgeous black white (large) polka dot dress in Zara, (anyone seen it?) looked lovely on the hanger but it came down to my mid calf!
It looked a bit weird to me, what does anyone think about this length? Knee length seems a bit more flirty/fun to me?
It was a cotton/linen blend so would have been perfect for day or night, but as it was a strange length I didn't think it would go with flip flops as a casual day look. Ruined my plan for the perfect dress to see me through spring, it was only £40 but looks so much more expensive and I love my natural fabrics.
The spot wrap dress in Next has sold out too, that was my next resort- boo!
Answer:
I haven't seen the dress you are talking about, I personally don't like calf length, I'm a short arse so that length tends to swamp me, but I don't like it in general because of the way it chops calves and looks frumpyish
Is there anyway you could get the dress taken up if if looks great everywhere else?
Answer:
Know what you mean- I felt fumpy in it and I'm about 5"6 and the all important half.
Thought about getting it taken up but I'm an impatient girl and want it now now now!.
Thanks for the reply.
