I want to go shopping
Just a little moan really. There is so much nice clothes out at the moment, I've really got the shopping bug, and feel inspired by looking online, and at all the style diary's...but I can't do anything about it because I'm broke!!
Is anyone else on a shopping ban at the moment? I'm finding it so hard!

:hug: Its very frustrating isn't it hun! Thats the life of us students, always in debt, always broke :( You're not alone! I'm always on a shopping ban...I never stick to it, mind, but I'm always *meant* to be on one :o I satisfy my shopping cravings by ordering stuff and then taking it back :lol: I've spent quite a lot this week (all on the 'What did you buy this week' thread) so I've got to cut down for the rest of the month.
Can you sell some stuff on Ebay hun, to make some money? Or maybe get down to Primark for a *little* cheap splurge to cheer yourself up? Maybe just have a trying-on session to see if you can revive any of your old clothes! I know you have some lovely stuff in your Stylediary, so just go and have a play around with it all :D

Im on a shopping ban and coming on here isnt helping, ive got a list as long as my arm with all the lovely things, and ive already spent my budget for the month (not that there was a lot), quite depressing really.
Im finding it hard too, was even trying not to come onto here but it lasted till ten past nine this morning as soon as i got to work.

my trouble is, I can't use my card at the moment :o :o because if I do, I'll get charged by the bank for being over-overdrawn :rolleyes: oops! And primark is miles away, so can't really afford the petrol... *sob* just feeling rather sorry for myself!!
Dealing on a purely cash basis at the moment...have officially 55 pounds to my name! But have decided to go down to tescos..I need to buy some food anyway, so :fingers: fingers crossed they will have something nice in the clothes section for me to chuck into the trolley!!
Have somehow managed to break my camera (or it could need new batteries :p ) but the ebay idea sounds like a good one..if I can get it working, might put some stuff up tonight...I need to buy something!!

Hi, does naybody have any experience with this company? I want to buy my oh a watch he wants for his bday from an amercian site, so have sneakily got the web address he bookmarked in his favourites :yay: have a feeling the shipping will be sky high though (either that or they won't take my card!) Just emailed them though.
Does shop the states make it any cheaper to ship at all?

Yup, lots of us use them here. They are pretty good. Do a search, there was a thread about them not long ago, started by Weenie, I think.

It was the Shopbop thread and I've just ordered using them and thought something had gone wrong as it took a while for them to receive the package and email me a quote etc... so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time but so far so good!
Shipping cost about £9 too although they're using UPS and I hope I don't get the dreaded customs form or I'm papercutting the driver :eek:

I've just bought some black slouch faith boots and the seller sent me a message saying, thanks for the quick payment and how she will be donating the money from the sale to a local school :)

yeah i know what you mean laboo, i sold some bits on there the other day and the guy emailed me a few days later to say thank you for sending the items so quickly and that it was his first time at buying anything on ebay and everything worked out great!
I thought it was really sweet of him to take time to email me, Needless to say i left him his first lot of positive feedback!

I bought two bags on eBay recently. One was a Tods bag which turned out to be a battered pleather fake.
The other (DKNY one) arrived this morning and it's even more beautiful than the brand new one I have been eyeing up instore as the leather has aged slightly. I'm so happy with it!!

Hi there!! I'm so bored of the desktop on my laptop so I've decided to create a wallpaper of my wishlist heres. All I have come up with so far are the Mulberry Bayswater / Piccadilly, BV Flap, BV Frame, Miu Miu Charlotte, MJ Venetia, Celine Boogie, and the YSL Muse. Surely there is more to life??!!
I already have a Paddington, Silverado, Spy, Stam Woven hobo so I'm looking for suggestions other than these.
