Pencil skirts
I've just bought a gorgeous new pencil skirt to wear over the Xmas period but now starting to have second thoughts about it because underwear lines show through it.
I've never been a lover of tights or hold ups but find with this skirt even when wearing a slip its hard to disguise suspender lines and hubby thinks it looks a bit tacky.
What do you think ?

Why not were thin short style knickers with hold ups? Suspender lines will be a buggar to hide under a pencil skirt, especially if it's close fitting.

Your brave if you try holdups, I wore them with a pencil skirt on a night out last week, I spent the whole night trying to keep the stupid things up - I did not look elegant! :lol: In the end I remebered some gel spray I had in my bag and stuck the bu**ers up with that 0 it seemed to work :o

continuing with my *i heart polka dots* theme (embracing a trend that finally looks good on me where short shorts and skinnies NEVER do!)... have some lovely dorothy perkins pumps, red with white polka dots on them - wear em with jeans mostly... would it be considered excessive to wear them with a red-white polka dot top? perhaps i should err on the side of caution!

Hello! I love polkadots too, have done for years now. I think that wearing the pumps with a matching top would definatly be a bit too much of an overload. Its best to have polkadots as the key piece in an outfit and blend other items around that piece :)
