has anyone tried spanx?
Hi guys,
I'm off to a friend's wedding in a few weeks and want to look as good as possible (the ex is going to be there). I've got a fab dress but thought that it might look better with some 'streamlining' underwear underneath it! ha ha
Has anyone tried Spanx and is it worth the price? Other suggestions would be great too.
Thanks!

Answer:
Annanas wears them a fair bit, she may be able to help you!
Answer:
 i haven't worn them in a while now actually  they're great for little lumps and bumps and things like that but they won't make you a full size smaller or anything like that.
there are quite a few threads on this though, do a search and you should find some helpful ones.

Boohoo.com - a few questions
Hi
I have just had a look at boohoo.com after seeing an ad in a mag. Found a few things that look ok, few things seem quite similar to primark to me.
Was just wondering whether anyone on here has used them before...what is the quality generally like and how is the sizing?
Thanks
b-e-g x
Answer:
Hey - I have used them a few times and I think the sizing is quite generous, when its the numbered sizes. When it is S/M and M/L it isnt so generous, but not awful.
The quality is okay, not bad for the money.
Their customer service is excellent, which is a plus.

Thank you princess charming!!
Nice to hear someones experiences before going ahead!
Answer:
i have to say that ive used them once and they were pretty good. true to size and quick delivery. ive seen quite a few of the clothes they have in mark one, bay trading and those cheapy market type shops but usually much more expensive so if you want to get an idea of the material and size i say head to one of those shops if you have them near you. x

I am thinking (just thinking, you understand) of getting a Mulberry Bayswater. The only thing that puts me off is that I imagine them to be heavy, even when they're not too full. Can anyone let me know how they find carrying their Bayswater?

French Connection sizing?
NO.5. ask :
French Connection sizing?
I've been eyeing up this top for a while now but I'm not sure what size to get :uzzle:
I'm normally a 12 in tops so would a medium be ok? I've bought a size 12 dress from them before it was huge but I'm not sure about their tops.
:thanks:
Lisa xx
Answer:
Like you, in the past I have found their sizing quite generous; and given the loose style of that top, perhaps an S would be better
Answer:
Someone bought that top recently, I remember seeing it on the WDYBTW thread, can't remember who it was though :cmdunno: I usually find their sizing a bit on the generous side.
Answer:
I bought that top. I'm a 12-14 and bought the M. It's pretty baggy. I probably could have got away with the S to be honest, but liked it super baggy and couldn't be bothered to get the S into the changing room. Sorry, not much help really. If you've got small boobs, then the S should be fine. I've got bigguns, but my back's pretty tiny.
Answer:
I don't know if this is any help, but i find the sized clothes (as in 8, 10, 12 etc) really generous and the clothes with S/ M /L in them slightly smaller from French Connection.
I am a 10/12 in there, but sometimes find the medium tops a little tight on me. Although i do have fairly big boobs, so that's probably why!
The shape of that top is loose, I saw it IRL and it's lovely, they do in in a ecru colour too that's pretty.
It did look rather big though, so i reckon a medium would be fine.:)
